"Mark is our go-to guy for any computer problems. <br /> He responded by phone immediately trying to walk me through several attempts to recover.  When the attempts failed he came right over to our home to diagnose the problem. "Things went very well. Quais (pronounced Kice) came by the house when he said he would, but more importantly he communicated in real time about his schedule and the problems with my laptop. Clear communication about arrival time and the problems is more important to me than showing up at the time initially set. Quais is also flexible about things, so if something changes in your schedule, you need only let him know. He is knowledge about laptops. He tested several options to make sure things were really as bad as he suspected. The motherboard died. He explained things to me and answered my questions. on the phone, he even talked me through a parts purchase while I was at the store. We had hoped this part would solve the problem short of replacing the motherboard. Sadly, that was not the case. But I really appreciated his patience and willingness to listen to my suggestions and work with me to find a solution. <br /> Quais is very polite, and he doesn't really like dogs. He let me know very politely, but I think he put up with my dogs sniffing longer than necessary. Bottom line: Contain your dogs before he arrives. He likes cats. <br /> I will absolutely call The Micro Geek next time I need computer repair. In fact, I have already referred them to my daughter for her iPhone. But she'll have to give you that review. <br />"
