The project entailed a complete gut of a galley kitchen, an expansion of a first floor bathroom, and renovation of first floor upper and lower foyer floors and walls. All work areas were in original condition from 1972. The owner was on site every day. His workers were knowledgeable, clean, respectful, and professional in every sense of the word. When problems with the original construction of the house were revealed, Ray (the owner) offered solutions as to how to overcome them, providing options and opinions. As with any major renovation, there were only a couple of items that needed to be addressed. Ray and his crew came back even after being fully paid and corrected the defect with no additional cost to us. His price was fair for the amount of work he performed and the kitchen, floors, and foyers look spectacular! It's tough to find a contractor with ethics and integrity, but Ray Lamanna and Tri-Build Construction are certainly in that category. We certainly will be using them again for our next project."

"I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. "contacted Gus for recent roof leak; he was here the same day. He first went into attic space (while there he replaced a burned-out light bulb) to check location of leak, took photos, had me view them; then went on the roof. He located popped nails, which he removed and sealed. Took photo of that as well as surrounding area which he also sealed with a product called, through the roof. He came down and told me the roof vent required a cap and said he would return to install it. Once he installed cap, he also took the opportunity to blow the leaves from the gutter. Once on the ground, he proceeded to blow leaves and debris from front and back walkways."
