"We had water loss in our house. In addition to the restoration work, we decided to do a broader remodel at the same time. We actually hired a different company that promised to make our house all new again, but we had a lot of delays and communication issues, and ultimately walked away from that company. We had already moved into temporary housing for the remodel, and needed another contractor to step in quickly. Johnson and Sons rose to the occasion and were able to get us back into our house quicker than the first company would have. Our remodel was basically the whole house. Floors, interior paint, all 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. The price was competitive. The timeline was good. The communication was outstanding, which was very important to us. Vic was always available to answer questions and proactive in letting us know what was going on. Jon and Tony were patient and willing to make adjustments as requested. We did discover an issue based on a previous contractor's faulty work, but Vic was quick to explain the situation and give us options and prices. We would definitely recommend them to others."

"Ryan from Johnson Custom Builders was referred to us from our neighbors. He is a design builder. After seeing his work there, we hired him to build our custom deck and prepare it for a deck cover installation. He took the time to learn about our project idea and offered options to build it. All throughout the project he made sure that we are informed so we can make the decision that best suited our project needs and budget. He took our project to design, architectural and engineering phase then permitted the project and built based on the approved architectural plan. He is very open and clear communicator and very patiently answered all our questions and helped brainstorm ideas. He was the liaison with the company who is building the deck cover and his expertise and attention to details was key for us to choose the right cover product and design. Ryan and his crew are very friendly and respectful. Their work is outstanding. We are very happy with the end result and will call them again for future projects."

"After experiencing water damage to my kitchen/dining room, I sought a contractor to do drywall, flooring & painting. In addition, to construct a new pantry door, and change out my remaining, first floor hardwoods for porcelain tile. I immediately felt a "good vibe" from Yariel from Bello Home Solutions. He was organized/systematic, detail oriented, very "engaged" with my project needs and personable. He and the Bello Home solutions team were expeditious and did high quality work. Yariel had great suggestions, and was easily reached when I had questions. I felt very comfortable giving the Bello team access to my home when I was away. "We contracted Treiber Bulding to remodel and awkward basement. Our primary contact was with Andrew, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. His crew was fast and efficient and knew how to work around the awkward space. Andrew recommended additions to the plan that he know would really make the project pop. He was always budget conscious and made if clear to me the costs associated with any changes we might want. When completed the project was beautiful and many of my friends have commented on how awesome the space is, while asking who was the contractor. I highly recommend Treiber Building!"

"Pros: The employee who did the work did a great job, he was left alone to work on the house most days and only had help for a short period. They worked with the customer to pick a plan and did not force anything without agreement of the customer. Cons: Was difficult to work with when something changed. Their electrical contractor misquoted codes and when brought up that I didn't want him doing the work (as he was attempting to charge an additional $4,000.00 to move the breaker box that was not necessary) it was difficult to have the estimate reflect that work was not being done. It appears that they do not have a cost per line estimate system that they can provide to the customer if requested. Also it seemed as though they took his job as a second job to do when they didn't have something better. There were times that I wondered if the contractor would even show up and what was quoted as a 7 day job ended up taking close to 6 weeks. Also have not finished adding the privacy glass in the bathroom window as was ordered. They advised the window store messed up and they would be out to fix the problem, this was approx 1 month ago and I haven't heard anything to date. Overall - Good Builders but don't plan to have great communication or the job completed on the timeline they gave."

"I cannot say enough good things about Vic and would highly recommend him to anyone I know. We stumbled across him on Angie's List as we needed help installing an egress window prior to the sale of our house. I'm so thankful we found him! We also had him take care of a few other projects like building a stair railing and addressing a plumbing issue. He did a great job on all of the projects we hired him for. He is hard working, dedicated and definitely knows what he is doing. His pricing was very reasonable and I felt like he really cared about taking care of his customers. All of those traits are not easy to find. I've been through a lot of contractors and he is definitely my favorite. I would hire him again in an instant."
