I appreciate they responded quickly and were straightforward and honest, rather than bidding on a job they could not include in their workload. As it turns out, I will repair the existing wood fence and in the future the Renton School District (my neighbor) will install a new 6 ft high chain link fence at this location, per their specs, thus alleviating a need on my part to build the new fence. A new elementary school will soon be built at the property adjacent to my location."

"The porch of our house (built in 1984) had rotted out and needed to be replaced. We wanted to use a synthetic material (e.g. Trek) so that we wouldn't need to paint or worry about decay. We collected a few bids and estimates from other companies, but they were double our expectations for a small porch replacement. Tom at Eastside Fence and Deck not only provided a reasonable and fair estimate, he took the time to go over all our options and let us choose the porch we wanted. He also spent time teaching us a lot about how porches are constructed and how his crew would be able to ensure proper rain runoff, match the slope of the steps up to our front door, and how everything would be to code. Tom's estimate detailed all the materials and was clear about the work. He double checked again before ordering the materials. It made us feel informed and in control. The crew was incredible. They demo'ed the old porch in a couple of hours and in a couple of days the porch was done. They did a ton of measurement to make sure it was exactly leveled and rock solid. It was exactly to what was specified and they did a perfect job on the railing and facing. Our house looks beautiful from the street and the porch is a pleasure to use. We are incredibly happy with the result. I can't recommend Eastside Fence and Deck enough. They are craftsmen, friendly and easy to work with, and get the job done quickly. I plan on hiring them for all future fence and deck work."

"Contour Fence knocked it out of the park for us with this project! Chris came out and did an estimate beforehand with drawings and measurements to help determine exactly what we wanted and needed for our fencing project. He asked questions and clarified the needs we had and provided answers to our questions as well as letting us know what we needed to do to prepare for the project (we had a section going through a piece of greenbelt and needed to 'level' a 55' line for the fencing). The fence is constructed with hog wire and wood and is exactly what we wanted! Two custom gates also allow for access at the upper portion to go into the forest greenbelt and access from the front with a wide gate allowing for most equipment to fit through. Attention to detail in keeping the fence as close to the ground as possible to prevent rabbits and smaller animals from sneaking in as well. The fence follows the contour of the land which creates a smooth, clean line at the top of the fence rather than a jagged up and down. Will last for a very long time and help keep the deer out of the food forest we are creating. We could not be happier and HIGHLY recommend Contour Fence to anyone looking for fencing needs!"

"I asked Jim at Home & Garden Art to fabricate 4 small sections of handrail out of iron that I would use around the 4 corners of my sunken living room. I wanted a 3D flower design done in the center to make it unique and provide a little rustic contrast to a fairly formal space. Jim caught on to what I was looking for very quickly and sketched out something on a sticky note that I thought would look great. After we agreed on the price he committed to getting them done about 3 weeks from that point. <br /> Jim began work on it within a couple days and called with some ideas to improve on the original design. I liked his suggestions and asked him to make the changes. To my surprise they called me a week early to tell me the work was done and ready to pick-up. My wife and I went to pick them up that day and can't say enough about how happy we are with the workmanship. They paid close attention to the details and really made the flowers look incredible. The fabrication and welding work is impeccable and worth every penny. <br /> The guys at Home & Garden Art are super friendly, easy to work with and real artists. "Andy and his two man team were fantastic. They were very friendly and very professional. They took down the old deck quickly on a Friday morning. From Monday to Friday, they built the new deck. It is very well built and gorgeous. The price was very reasonable. We hope to hire Andy again to install some soffits in our eves and maybe a window in our attic."
