Existing door spring failed and I needed the door fixed as soon as possible. I chose to get a new opener knowing I needed them out to do the repair anyway (the old one was many years old). They ran through the options for that by mail, arrived on time, looked at the setup, ran me through why they would not have done it that way and recommended a change to the design because of the door weight, to prevent a similar failure in the future. I agreed and they had it all done in 2 hours when i was expecting 3 - they had everything with them they needed even though the design changed. Unexpected repair costs are never fun but I felt like I got value for money: apart from quickly getting it working again, the new system is far quieter, I can open/close from anywhere if needed, and it should last many years.
