"Janice and Chris were very prompt. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the inground fence which they repaired. Took care and making the repair and did so in a timely manner. They were organized and took away any debris that was left from the repair. They went a couple steps further and made sure that the wiring was secure within the system in my garage. Their rates are reasonable, which I appreciate it since we are senior citizens. They also gave me a couple of tips. I definitely recommend them and if I have any future problems or additions, I will certainly call them."

Most pros can complete residential projects within one to three days, depending on the size of your property and complexity of the job. Larger properties exceeding an acre may require additional days to complete properly. Weather conditions can also significantly impact the timeline. Proper planning and site preparation before installation begins can help minimize unexpected delays regardless of how complex the project is.
DIY projects can greatly cut down your expenses. However, effectively installing a fence on your own demands careful planning, precise measurements, and possibly tools you do not currently possess. Before moving forward, take an honest look at your comfort level with the project's labor. Keep in mind that inadequate installation can weaken the fence’s sturdiness. Many homeowners discover that a mixed strategy is most effective—taking care of basic prep work themselves but enlisting professionals for the fence installation.
From a long-term value perspective, vinyl fencing often provides excellent returns despite higher initial costs of $3,000 to $6,000 for a standard 150-foot fence. Its minimal maintenance requirements and extended lifespan offset the up-front investment. Chain link represents a middle-ground option at $1,500 to $4,000, offering durability with occasional maintenance needs.
Professional dog training specifically for fence boundary recognition typically costs around $50 per hour. Most pets require several sessions to fully understand the new boundaries, bringing total training expenses to $150 to $250. Traditional fence training focuses on discouraging climbing, digging, or other escape behaviors. Some installation companies offer combined packages that include both fence installation and introductory training sessions, potentially providing better overall value.
