"ACJ is an outstanding firm. We wanted to replace the 40+ year old aluminum siding and trim on the windows and uncover and restore the original 120 year wood cornice. We decided to use Certainteed Cedar Impressions siding and Fypon polyurethane moldings (which do not rot or peel when painted) to replicate the original look of the house. The owner, Joseph Ashly is knowledgable and listened to and addressed all of our concerns regarding design and quality. I am an architect and had very specified ideas about what I wanted my house to look like after the job. Joseph came to see us several times and discussed details patiently. His price was very fair. I received several bids for the project so I am sure of that. And one small additional item came up during the job and I was impressed by how it was handled. Finding good contractor's can be difficult but this company is really first class. The owners monitored the work and spoke to us during progress. When they started the job, they had there crew continuously working until the end (about 8 work days) and called when the weather made work impossible (2 days). The crew were extremely respectful of neighbors and our house. They answered any questions that we had. No loud music or loud voices. After the job was completed, there was a small molding that needed additional screws and the contractor, Joseph Ashley, had a truck with two men at my house in less than 24 hours (perfect service). My wife and I highly recommend ACJ. and we already have recommended the company to neighbors and friends."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Milestone did a very good job at repointing (removing the old, crumbling mortar and replacing it with fresh, new waterproof mortar). Mik is very professional and is fair in his pricing. Communication with him was never an issue. His crew are very nice guys who did an excellent job. The finished job did not look like someone fat-fingered the mortar into place. Instead, the mortar lines are straight and clean. I would absolutely hire Milestone again."

"After Hurricane Sandy, half of my mother's roofing shingles had blown off of her home as well as causing chimney damage and a water leakage problem from the chimney into the interior of her kitchen. After checking Angie's List for contractors, I hired City Wide Construction & Renovation.
After viewing the damage, Mr. Nadeem Mughal gave me a very good estimate for all of the repairs. His crew were always on time; they worked expeditiously and neatly and all were very respectful to Mom. Nadeem was a pleasure to speak with and was always courteous and professional with anything I asked of him. They matched the shingles as perfectly as they could, and the roof never looked so good.
They patched and repaired the leak coming into the kitchen which had caused damage to the wallpaper. After repairing the leak, they removed the damaged wallpaper; they supplied the wallpaper glue and then cut the portion of the wallpaper that Mom had saved, and patched that portion of the wall so well, that you cannot even see where the damage had been.
All three problems were beautifully repaired, and Mom and I are both very pleased. Nadeem guarantees all of his work for 5 years, and THAT alone says a lot about the contractor. I would highly recommend Nadeem and his men. Job well done.
