"I can not speak highly enough of Alex, Dimitry, and David. They are artists who do an amazing job and charge a very fair price. We have a 1754 house, so nothing is simple. We asked them to refinish the flooring that we had in the great room. I have just completed renovating and wanted to have the 1950's floors refinished. Maybe someday we will put period flooring in, but for now, we just wanted the floor that we have to match the renovation. They blew us away with their quality and attention to detail. "Peter Mountzoures of all trades I really like utilizing the service of Peter because he is one of the few contractors that I felt confident in performing the work on my late parents’ home without me following up right away. In addition, Peter replaced two windows that were on the second floor with ease, razed an old building, replaced the roof on the main dwelling, and plowed my late parent’s driveway when I requested. "So far they have been very responsive. We are waiting on a quote to see if we are actually going to use them. The first quote was $110,000 that they gave us in July and the second one was $150,000 in August. They are one of two companies that we are bidding."

"Our first use of Empire was nice. They were timely, clean, and did a very nice job with our master bedroom, hall and office conversion from wall-to-wall to hard wood. Two years later we opted to use them again to remove the carpet from the remaining bedrooms from carpet to hardwood. The installers were great BUT the sales guy needs to retire. He stated that 4 bedrooms could be done in a day. With an ample size crew - ok. BUT 3 guys showed up and one left after getting the first two settled. Then later the another left leaving one guy. We were dumbfounded. They arrived at 9 a.m. and left at 11:35 p.m. We fed them lunch, we fed them rib eyes steaks for dinner. They plowed through. The sales guy called asking how it was going around 4 p.m. and I wanted to strangle him. NEVER AGAIN. Empire called to followup and when I tried to call back I got nothing so in essence they got paid and they don't care. Lesson learned - old sales guy lie."
