"These guys do amazing work and are serious craftsmen. You get what you pay for - they are not the cheapest firm out there, however, they were priced right in line with several other contractors we evaluated. In our opinion, their work was far superior to the others which makes them a much better value in terms of what you spend. They kept us in the loop with every stage of the project. When we made some changes to the project they charged us a reasonable (minor) amount for the changes. We decided to use a different railing system - one that was slightly more expensive and more complicated to install. They did not increase their price even though this may have not been as profitable for them. Our job took longer than expected, but they were willing to do whatever it took to make sure it was not an inconvenience for us. They cleaned up after themselves each day before leaving so our home did not appear in disarray. I can't say enough good things about Francis X White. They are a top notch building/remodeling firm, completely capable to handle whatever the need may be. We will definitely be using them for any further home remodeling projects. Note: The pictures below show the finished deck, but it has not been cleaned yet after construction so it will look a little muddy. It's too cold outside right now to deal with that!"

"After thoroughly researching and receiving bids for our master bathroom remodel, we chose Dan to complete the work. There was certainly some hesitation to hire anyone, as we had never hired a contractor before. The hesitation quickly disappeared. Although somewhat quiet at times, Dan is professional and friendly. Dan is certainly well qualified in all aspects of a remodel job, and he really shines as a master tiler. Dan's work is impeccable. He is very detail-oriented, and understands the different challenges that can be faced during the entire process. Due to a lighting issue with the sun coming through the skylight, Dan noticed after installing subway tile on one of the shower walls that the wall was bowed, causing several tiles to be out of alignment, which was only noticeable when the sun circled the skylight, leaving a noticeable shadow. He pointed this out to us, and took the additional time to correct the issue by tearing out the affected tiles and redoing them. Dan's estimate was well below the other two bids we received, making our remodel project a great value. Dan was provided a key to our home, allowing him to come and go as needed during the day when we were at work. Dan respected our home as it were his own, and made sure the floors were protected at all times, despite the carpet being in need of replacement. I very rarely take the time to write a review online, but Dan's work is so good, he deserves it. We will certainly be repeat customers, and will be having Dan remodel our second full bathroom next year."

Joe did an excellent job finishing our basement. Worked was done in a timely manner without comprising quality that was paramount for us. Despite a few challenges with the area around Radeon and sub pump. He worked with us with the flexibility to accommodate our concerns and requirement without an additional cost.
