"The new shed was good quality.  I love it, and the value was decent.  John, the owner, is a very professional person, and he knows how to make sheds.  The only issue that I had was I was told by their scheduling department that someone would call me, repeatedly, and it never happened.  I probably had to be on the phone with the company 7 times before appropriate appointments were scheduled.  Granted, they had to time the teardown before the new shed was built, but it should be easier to do than it was in my experience. One day, they were scheduled to come and build it, but there was no shed.  They rescheduled and did it a week later, so it was okay.  
John seemed to be overall concerned about the quality of the job, and customer feedback.  John personally showed up to tear down my old shed, with his employee, once the job had been postponed a few times. When the builders forgot to install my solar light, he showed up personally to install it.  That shows dedication to customer service and satisfaction.
Overall, the experience wasn't bad.  The new shed is excellent, and I am happy I had it done.

"It went very well, they started on my preferred date and worked 6 days a week for 2 weeks to complete the job. I had expected it to take at least two weeks. They were punctual, polite, friendly, and thorough. It was 20 years since it was last painted so there was a lot of prep work that was needed. They also had to remove wallpaper from 6 rooms, prepare the surface, then repaint. I was very satisfied with the results."

"The chimney work took two days (less than I thought) and he did a great job in our price range!  I was impressed that he gave us several options on what could be done.  He worked fast (I wish I had half his energy) and knew what he was doing.  He was respectful of my time and showed up within minutes of when he said he would, got to work and stayed with it to get as much done during the day as he could.  The chimney looks great and I'm very satisfied with his work.  I have hired him again to do some plumbing work for me and was totally satisfied with that job as well.  I would recommend him for any work around the house that you may have - he's definitely worth the call.

"After countless estimates and proposals from other contractors, I met with Rich and walked him through the extensive work that had to be done to the foreclosure my husband and I purchased in March of 2014. Rich was the only contractor that came back with a detailed list of all the jobs as well as itemized pricing per job at a very reasonable price. Because of the significant work that had to be done to the house - Rich worked on the house between May 2014-October 2014. (we recently re-hired him to come back and build a wooden walkway for outside the house which he is working on as I type this.) Richs dedication to his craft as well as his solid work ethic impressed many of my neighbors whom contracted him out for their own home projects as well as my parents who hired them to do work on their house. No job is too big or too small for Rich to handle. As long as he has his coffee and water throughout the day - he will work from sun up to sun down! "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"Kris remodeled 2 bathrooms and a living room in a house we were trying to sell. We had no offers before the remodel, and it sold quickly after the work he did. One of the bathrooms was a complete tear-down, replacing the walls, wainscoting, fixtures, floor and everything. He did a very good job, and we never could have sold the house without his work."
