"We hired Plymouth Meeting Nursery to completely transform the exterior landscape of our 100+ year-old home, where we live with our three young children and our ever-faithful golden retriever. As a licensed landscape architect, we approached this project with high standards and were looking for a contractor who offered fair, transparent pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and timely execution. Plymouth Meeting Nursery delivered on all counts. The scope of work was extensive and included the demolition of all existing landscaping, a deck, concrete walkways, fencing, and excess soil. In its place, the team installed new fencing, a beautiful cedar pergola, repointed brickwork on our home, irrigation, a synthetic lawn alongside fresh sod and thoughtfully selected plantings, outdoor lighting, a stunning bluestone patio with brick steps and retaining wall, a brick and bluestone fireplace, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen featuring a grill, sink, ice maker, and refrigerator. The project spanned nearly five months, during which a few scope changes arose. Each one was handled professionally and flexibly by John and his team. Their commitment was clear: the crew showed up consistently and kept the momentum going, which we greatly appreciated. "Tremendous team! Joe, the owner, is very thoughtful, honest, and easy to talk with. He made sure he knew exactly what we wanted and asked very specific questions to make sure we knew what the final result would look like. This team was equally thoughtful as they asked us how we would like specific details as the project progressed. The team worked so hard and well together - the turns and straight runs were on point. Our fence was custom cedar fence that we were very picky about. It also had a garbage and bike storage area that he needed to attach to a structure built by another contractor. It was very complicated and the other 3 fence companies were lost in trying to figure it out. Joe took the time to figure it out and had patience with us. I've worked with dozens and dozens of contractors over the years and this company is undoubtedly one of the best. I will be referring them to everyone I know. Definitely give Joe a call!"
