"The electrician arrived after my scheduled time, without a courtesy call. I learned he had car issues, and he came in a vehicle "not as fully stocked as his primary vehicle would have been". One of the lighting fixtures I needed was not on his truck. While he was working on an electrical socket, he asked if I wanted to go to the store 'to save time and to prevent me from being charged if he had to go to the store himself, because he couldn't use the current pull cord'. Really? It's my issue because you had car problems and came in a partially stocked alternate vehicle? Anyway, I go to get a pull cord. I asked if it would be easy to find and he said that it would. I typically buy the wrong thing, so I bought two items, just in case. I return home to learn that I actually needed the entire fixture. Seriously? I understand the difference between a fixture and a pull cord... He didn't say "fixture". I was irritated, but he tried to make one of the items I bought work (it didn't). I also purchased a water heater through the electrician to be installed the following weekend. At that point, he says he'll remove the charge for trying to install the pull cord. Really? You were going to charge me for that? Back to the electrical socket, he did this 1st, completing 1 of 3 sockets on the same breaker. I was so thankful he did because the power went out again while he was installing the ceiling light. He went back to the other 2 sockets, asking me if I knew if they were working. Really? You're asking me? He ultimately rewired all 3, which, of course, makes sense. I'm certain he wouldn't have if the power didn't go out though. As he left, he asked if I could give him a good review on Yelp or Google, saying it would really help him, they'll give him like 20 bucks (something like that). I didn't. However, after the great service I received from the water heater contractors, I took the time to give them a positive review. To my shock, when I looked at the Dear Services site, I saw "Dave", the electrician that 1st came to my house. Wow! Dave acted like he was just another Dear Services electrician, but he is the founder. This was amazing and irritating to me. I wasn't going to post anything about my experience with Dave, but HomeAdvisor is persistent with their emails regarding the service that customers receive. So here I am, and this was my experience. Again, the water heater contractors were great and I posted a positive review for them. With Dave, that was definitely not the case."

"Checked my outdoor lighting and replacing a few bulbs. The deal just included the inspection, so there were extra charges for the bulbs, but I was informed of this ahead of time. They were a bit late, but other than that it went great! (They were not late by much!)"

We did not think to include lighting and it was an excellent suggestion and decision. Hector and his crew showed up as scheduled and finished the job in two days. "A team of two electricians arrived on 24 August 2020 to investigate the electrical anomalies we were experiencing. They spent all day inspecting the circuit breaker panel and disconnecting multiple switches and outlets. By the end of the day, they thought they had resolved the problem, but when they reconnected everything, the symptoms returned. So, they decided to come back the next day to continue their investigation. On 25 August 2020, the lead electrician came back for a few minutes, to continue searching for the cause of the electrical problems, but was still unsuccessful in determining the source. He said he would come back tomorrow. On 26 August 2020, the two electricians returned and finally identified and corrected the cause of the electrical problems we were having. The lead electrician explained that the problems were caused by a loose grounding wire in the circuit breaker panel, which he had initially checked but did not notice. After they left, we realized that a three-way light circuit on the stairs and balcony was not working properly. This was not one of the original symptoms. So we asked the team to come back and correct this problem, which they had created. On 4 September 2020, the team came back and corrected the wiring problem with the three-way switches for the lights on the stairs and balcony. The owner of the company, to his credit, apologized for the fact that it had taken so long to identify the root cause of our electrical problem and only charged us for his cost, not the electricians' usual hourly rate. And, he did not charge us for the return visit to correct the problem with the three-way light switches on the stairs and balcony. Overall, the electricians were always courteous and professional, and kept us informed during their investigation and analysis of our problem. They were pleasant to work with. It was just unfortunate that the investigation and resolution took longer than any of us expected. I would not hesitate to call on them again in the future, if needed."

"Francisco does a great job! We hired All Season Landscaping to perform a spring cleaning of our yard. Weeding, mowing, and bark laid. Work was performed quickly and beautifully. Due to the quality of work we retained them for bi-weekly maintenence of mowing, edging and weeding. They are very responsive and work with your schedule, which we appreciate!"

We had a zinsco panel in there which can be quite a problem. we decided to replace it and really investigated companies carefully. these folks were so easy to work with, very clear communication, did exactly what they said they would do in a competent way, were on time no add-ons to the bid. wish I could give them a pluses.the City of Seattle offered us a rebate as we were putting in more efficient lights, which meant paperwork for Exact electric to help us complete the forms and coupons as they had to give some information. And the office people were so helpful and quick to deal with it. feel bad that I didn't review them earlier as they are excellent.

We had old sod removed and new sod installed in our back yard as well as a little stone patio where we will put a fireplace. They did a great job and everything looks amazing!
