"Chris knows concrete. This was a ten yard patio project that consisted of a 10x54 pad and two sidewalks. Here is his process which is correct. Does layout with homeowner, starts digging about 6 to seven inches roughly, throughout the entire project area. Then uses a tiller to break up the under material to level it out to the correct slope and he tamps it down. Then the crushed rock went down and tamped into place. Then the forms, rebar, drilled into foundation so pad attached to house. Used Clarkâs Sitemix and Coopers Concrete Pumping as his subs. All went well, on schedule and very happy with the results. Sloped 2% which is the max code as I wanted maximum slope away from the house. Overall I was very happy with Chris. I have lots of experience hiring concrete contractors over the years as a property manager and home owner. He is as good a job as people I have paid more. Happy with the price and product."
