"The process went great. We had researched many companies and are very happy we went with R&M . We had pipes break in our upstairs bathroom and it flooded everything, we didn't think our home would ever look the same. Now it even looks better then what it did before. The representative came out immediately. Within in 2 hours of the call they had a bunch of equipment here cleaning and drying out the mess. "bad start. they gave a discount for being flexible with when they would get it done last fall. they did not get it done last fall so we just finished the project this spring. bad planning on their part, wife not happy about that. 

the work was high quality. they put new weather stripping on the doors that they painted. the owners were responsive by calling but it did not get things done any sooner

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"He was awesome.  He called back, but he was working in Reed field, North Carolina and he could not get to us for a couple of days.  By the time, he got to us we had already gotten the other estimates, and we were pleased with him.  Hampton guy was great.  He was really quick to get back to us, but he had other projects that he had already lined up.  The experience was very satisfactory.  He was very courteous, and prompt.  He was very honest in saying that he cannot get to us, and if we needed to have this work done now, then we need to have to get somebody else.  I appreciated that."
