"This was the second project that Genadek was hired for.  The reason Genadek was rehired to do work that no other contractor seemed to want to take on was because the company delivers what it says it will.  The first project was an extensive drain tile system with permeable pavers and a french drain, which has provided a beautiful place to entertain as well as much needed management of a high water table.  And when Genadek encountered issues with the high water table, they researched and came up with a plan - a plan that became the solution we had been searching for going on 6 years.
On both projects, Genadek was upfront about changing conditions of the project and gave us the information necessary to make a decision.  At no point was there a feeling that Genadek was doing anything other than respecting us and the financial constraints of the projects.  It is impossible to expect a bid to always be perfect down to the last penny, however Genadek makes a concerted effort to do just that and when they cannot - you will know why.
When Genadek finishes a project, they clean up the worksite and leave it as they found it so there is no delay in your enjoyment.  There is not doubt that this is a company that is choosing to do business the right way - respecting clients - and should be supported for it."

"Justin and his crew were fantastic. No issues at all. We ended up changing the tile, nearly mid-job because Justin wanted us to, "love it." He gave his professional opinion and he was right on with shape, color and style of backsplash. We should've started with his thoughts and saved us all time and hassle. He too facilitated returning special order tile we bought outside of his recommendations. We had delays due to COVID19 and tile orders, but he still checked in and got the job done as expected. "The project went very well.  Storm damage caused by two trees coming down on two sides of the fence was repaired in 2-3 hours.  The workers reviewed all needed work from the estimate prior to beginning the work.  They even volunteered to replace a top rail from another section of the fence, not included in the estimate, that had been bent in a storm many years before.   The workers were very thorough, did not damage any plants or grass around the damaged areas and cleaned up after themselves.  The workers were knowledgeable and polite.   They made sure everything was nice and straight!  Everything looked very nice when they were finished.  The workers were approximately an hour late from the start time I had been given.  I called and was told they had gotten a late start.  Their good work made up for the lateness.

"We started in the spring. Greg came out to assess my falling apart garage. He tore down the old garage and replaced it. As it is an attached garage, it was quite a process. Everything went very well. There were some delays due to weather, but that is understandable. "It could not have gone better.  Tom Burke is a man of his word.  He is exceptionally knowledgeable about  cast block work and retaining wall construction.  And he is a remarkably good, on-site designer.   Among other welcome design features he suggested is a curved section of the new wall to replace a dog-leg section of the old wall, which markedly improved the aesthetics of the wall.   I would say he and his crew worked like dogs, but I have never seen a dog who was willing to work as hard,  fast and amiably as they did, often putting in 12 hour days.  Tom and Nick, his right-hand man, were meticulous and exacting in their layout, base preparation, alignment and execution.  Andrew, who assisted, tirelessly supplied muscle and supplies to keep the work flowing smoothly.  It was a genuine team effort, the likes of which we have rarely seen.  We had the need for an exact start date, and the whole crew was here on the agreed-upon morning and went to work immediately.  Perhaps the most impressive thing about having them here, beyond the exceptional quality of the finished product, is the way the crew worked together.  They all went about their business very professionally, without commotion, without any shouting and without wasted motion.  Although there were a couple of setbacks because of tree roots, they worked around them, and Tom never suggested a change in price because of the extra work required.  In summary, we were completely satisfied with the price, the execution and the finished product.  We will always use ACT Landscaping for this type of work in the future, and  we recommend that anyone reading this review do the same."
