"Josh evaluated the job, made suggestions, gave me a quote and proceeded to do all the earth moving and readiness for a large steel building. He oversaw all the leveling with transits, backfill and compaction, gravel fill and placement of the pavers. He suggested decorative patterns, color schemes with different block and installed all of it in a timely manner. He was professional from start to finish. This is not the first time we have used Ground Effects and they continue to impress us with their level of perfection and attention to detail. "Hemax performed a drainage improvement project in conjunction with a complete driveway replacement. The project turned out excellent. On time, professional and knowledgeable crews. Henry Cruz is an excellent project manager. He provides extra value to the job with his insightful ideas. Price was fair and there was no pressure to increase it; only truly valuable recommendations. I poured about 50 gallons of water down the driveway and was very pleased with the improved grading of the driveway and the functionality of the catch basin. The drainage improvement and driveway both look great and I look forward to many years of enjoying the added functionality they provide. Money well spent on a job well done."

Quinn with landscape design, similar, he met with us in the early stages and reviewed everything from botany, drainage, and meeting our unique needs. The estimating and contract were clear, accurate, and constantly up to date. Once handed to Josh and the actual build crew, the expertise continued. The crew was polite, hard-working, clean, and friendly. Clearly detailed oriented. We knew almost every day what the plan was and what was needed from us. As our project was mostly during the winter months, and while there were delays due to weather, these were expected and communicated extensively. The end product exceeded our expectations. There were no 'hidden' costs, as we thoroughly discussed and understood change orders as we went along. The personal attention from Jose, Josh, and Rob Groff was exemplary. "Apex Masonry went above and beyond in responding to our needs and concerns. James Aguilera provided us a great amount of detail on how Apex would complete the project. He guided us through a painless process from estimate to job completion. The patio was carefully constructed with a durable gravel and sand foundation. The pavers were laid tight and level. The boarder has additional durability with a concrete foundation to prevent shifting. The front stoop looks better than ever! The steps have always been uneven with the first riser at about 3” and the second at about 9”. Peter, the project manager, skillfully demolished part of the first step and the forward edge of the second. The reconstruction resulted in two evenly sized steps. After repointing, the stoop looks incredibly revitalized and new. My wife and I are very pleased with Apex Masonry and highly recommend."

"Excellent Results; The crew was very professional and they did an excellent job of cleaning up after the project. They demolished and removed both existing walkway from site; They furnished and installed reinforced concrete footing; They furnished and installed Pennsylvania flagstone for the porch and both walkways. The walkway steps that were constructed to address the considerable slope down to the back steps of the house were very well done and makes it a much more attractive and safer walkway. "Ben, Connor, and the entire Independence Landscape Team are absolute masters at their craft and some of the most professional, responsive individuals I’ve ever worked on a project with. The job included designing/redoing our frontyard bed, installing downspouts, building a 330 square foot backyard patio bordered by a dry creek, installing natural stone steps leading up to the patio, and designing/executing new backyard landscape beds. Our backyard - which is on a slope and not a huge space to begin with - looks out onto a shared driveway. Given that, my wife and I struggled with how to create a sense of privacy in our backyard without having a fence installed. Of all the professionals we met with initially, Ben, our Project Manager and Connor, who did a lot of the design work, had the clearest vision of how to get it done. Both were mindful and in tune with what was important to my wife and I. Both were creative in working within the parameters of our space to deliver what is in my opinion, the very best job that anyone could have done.
