"I had a different company come out previously to do a sweep and inspection. I have a fireplace with a wood stove insert. The first company told me that they could not pull my wood stove out because it was improperly installed and gave me a long list of items that I needed to get fixed (some of which seemed redundant) and that I shouldn't use my chimney until all the work was complete. I didn't get a good feeling from them so I called Complete Chimney to come out and do a second inspection to see what they thought. Scott and Jimmy (I think) came out and one of the first things they did was pull out my wood stove. They inspected my chimney and talked to me realistically about what I should have done. I have an old wood stove that I am not quite ready to replace, and asked if they could fit a new liner to my existing stove. He told me the new wood stoves require a 6 inch liner, where mine was an 8 inch, but told me they could install a boot to adapt to the old wood stove until we are ready for a new one. He was professional and didn't speak down to me. Since the weather was getting cold, I was worried about not getting put on their schedule in time. Scott called the office for me on the spot, and made my appointment for me. Andrew came out to do the work with a helper. They were on time, professional and courteous. I was impressed that Andrew knew the exact work that needed to be done, he even cleaned the shelf behind the stove that the previous company did not do because they never pulled my stove out. Even though they were there for several hours, there was not a speck of soot anywhere, except the workers! Will definitely use them again! <br />"

"I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"<p>Mr. Oakey and his team were very responsive.  I gave vague descriptions of what I wanted and I was provided samples to choose from.  The work performed was very professional and the workers were polite and kept the workplace extremely clean.  The work was completed on time.</p> <p>Although the price was slightly higher than the other bids, I feel strongly that I got my money's worth.  No other contractor was able to offer a completely roll In shower.</p> <p>Additionally, I asked for a price quote to swap out the barely used toilet from the remodel for with one in the other bathroom.  He provided a price quote that was too high and I said I would do it myself.  He surprised me by swapping it out at no charge.</p> <p>I did not feel rushed to pay final bill.  I was given a generous amount of time to make sure that I was happy with the work.</p> <p>I was very impressed with the work performed and satisfied with the price in the end.  I will be considering this company for a future project.</p> <br />"

"Calvin was able to come out at our earliest convenience, was in and out in the estimated time, and was able to inspect and clean the chimney for us. Our chimney hadn't been swept since before we moved in over a year ago, and there was quite a lot of dangerous build-up. Our roof is also extremely high. For the service we needed, we felt we paid a very reasonable amount for the quality of work we received. Calvin was very friendly, respectful to our military service, considerate our our home, and very quick to answer any of our questions.
