"I bought the deal off of Angie's List of the $99 Faucet Installation.  I needed to replace the tub handles and spout (I provided the new ones). I didn't want to deal with this myself, as it seems I always make it worse than how it started originally!  The guy showed up (sorry, can't remember name!), and he was very polite, thorough, and did the job very quickly.  He could have done a better job caulking, as the old stuff was still on the tub/walls and wasn't removed.  Overall, was very pleased and would use them again.

"I brought in several of the highest rated plumbers on Angie's list for bids so I knew they would all do quality work.   I then went with the lowest bid, which was Burkhardt by a landslide.  The bid I received from them was less than half of what the other top rated plumbers bid. 
They only have a few employees and they had one guy do all of the construction work at my house.  My project took 4 days which included breaking up the floor, running drain and vent pipe, running water pipe, and recementing the floor.
I was very impressed with the work.  When he came to the house I went over how I wanted everything done and he did everything exactly how I explained it.  I also made some additions to the scope of the project after he started and he took care of them with a "can do" attitude.  I needed him to reroute some existing water pipe and to install a shut off valve.  He also left my basement spotless when he was done with no reminents of all the cement and sand that was on the basement floor during construction.  I would hire Burkhardt Plumbing again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for quality plumbing work done at a fair price.

"We were impressed with Plumbline from the start. Before bidding on the project, Roger brought in a plumber and an electrician to make sure that our plans for our 1921 house were possible and affordable. He and his team offered great advice as we worked out design and construction details. "GREAT! He was very considerate. I called at about 4:57 PM (they close at 5:00) and asked for a guestimate of how much it would cost to replace our broken garbage disposal. He said it would be about $300. I asked when he could do it, hoping for a date before Thanksgiving. He said either Tuesday or Friday of next week. And then he offered to do it immediately. I accepted and the job was completed by 6:30 the same day. I know I was extremely fortunate that he was able to schedule it so fast and I don't expect this speedy scheduling in the future. But, I sure was happy he was able to pull it off tonight! Thank you very much Jim!

"Kyle was the first to respond shortly after I requested a quote from several service companies. I talked with him on the phone and explained the problem and he quoted me an approximate cost of $120. I made an appointment with him for the next day. He arrived on time, evaluated the problem and explained what needed to be done. He ran a special cutter through the drain line that fed into the main drain under the floor. We then checked the drainage of the kitchen sink, which then drained with a vortex. The blockage was cleared. The charge was exactly what he had quoted, $120. I was happy to have hired Kyle for the job, rather than one of the large companies, after having read their unfavorable reviews, about how they quoted a price and then upon evaluating the job, changed the price. In many instances, they didn't fix the problem and either required a return visit at additional cost or the home owner had to hire someone else, like Kyle to do the job right. I was also happy to hire Kyle, because he is a small business owner and I would rather support a single man operation such as his. I would highly recommend Kyle because of his professionalism and ability to solve the problem. In the future if I need other drain cleaning, I will hire Kyle and will refer others to him. I was very happy with his service and price."
