"US Clean was the only company to respond to my request. They got in touch with me right away and got me on their schedule right away, too. The owner came out to assess the issues with our shower tile and sink counter. It took my husband me a little while to get back with them about doing the job, but they were very patient with us. The young man who did the work explained everything and worked diligently for several hours until the work was finished. I feel like the job was priced right. When we get ready to do a full restoration in our bathroom, we will call US Clean."

"Some cracked tiles and compromised grout in our 12yr old shower had led to a waterlogged cement pan beneath the floor tile which needed 5 days of professional dehumidifying before final work was done. Also had an over abundance of lime scale which I could no longer get clean so his team scraped and dug that out. The shower floor was recaulked and sealed with a textured film which should last for yrs and be easy to clean. Dan was also very knowledgeable about the best way to repair several areas of loose/popping tiles and crumbling grout in a number of high traffic areas of our home. His team of very courteous guys leveled and reglued the loose tiles and removed/regrouted without any damage to the existing tiles. Very pleased with Dan and his team and will recommend to family/friends.

"The first thing that happened was for Ryan and Julie from Cabinet Clad to visit our house and get an ideal of our remodeling needs.  They would work with us on cabinet style, stain color, style of door knobs, hardwood floors, etc.  We would then sit down with them at their office to finalize the contract and negotiate a price.  The project would start in approximately 5 weeks.
Cabinet Clad gave me a copy of a project schedule so I knew exactly what was going on.  If changes were being made to the schedule they informed me of the change. The gutting of the kitchen and living room took about 2 days.  They removed everything and hauled off everything.  They removed the soffits in the kitchen and reframed the walls and sheet rocked the walls.  The electrician roughed in the changes needed and the sheet rock personnel got started.  It took longer to mud the sheet rock then projected (about 1 1/2 weeks) however the weather had some reason for the delay.  We picked out the granite at a company in Independence along with the assistance of Julie (their designer). The granite personnel installed the granite in less than one day.  Julie also help us pick out the style of facing needed on the fireplace.  She was very helpful in giving us an ideal of what we needed in design, style and color.   The project was completed pretty much on schedule (about 6 weeks).
The cabinets were made in Abilene, KS and were excellent quality.  The cabinet personnel did an excellent job installing.  The backsplash tile person and the plumber all did very good work.  The electrician was outstanding adjusting and establishing the lighting and electrical needs of the kitchen and living room.  The sheet rock personnel did an acceptable job, however it took longer than expected to mud the rooms.  Chip (the project manager) was excellent in keeping us on schedule, coordinating all the sub contractors and responding to our changes.   Cabinet Clad completed the remodeling project beyond our expectations.  We love it very much.

"This review is a long time coming, but it does give me perspective since we have been living with these changes for a while now.The first project was started in late 2013 and finished in  January 2014. It consisted of moving the laundry room to the second floor of our home. The master bedroom is adjoined to the fourth bedroom where we decided to enlarge that room's closet for our washer and dryer, closer to all our bedrooms. The original laundry room was converted to a pantry. The other part of this project was enlarging our master bedroom walk-in closet. It was very narrow and divided into two areas by a wall and door. Young Remodeling managed the project well and had excellent contractors. They provided excellent quality  workmanship in all aspects of the project including extending hardwood flooring into the pantry, tiling the new laundry room floor, installing bi-fold doors, refinishing the ceilings and painting the walls and trim, building the pantry shelves, rerouting electrical and water services to the new laundry location and more. Total cost was about $25,000.
The second project was the kitchen remodel. This project was suppose to start in August 2014, the cabinetry had been received and they were ready to start demolition when a medical issue arose that meant we had to postpone the project. Young was very gracious to hold our new cabinetry in storage until we could restart the project in April, 2015. We had a new kitchen by the end of May. The project consisted of a radically different layout. We worked with Young's designer to come up with a great plan. They provided lots of drawings and paid attention to details to optimize our new kitchen. All of the cabinets were replaced and Young installed all of our new appliances. They re-stained the hardwood floor that extends into our family room. They rewired the kitchen and moved the canned light fixtures to better meet the needs of the new layout and installed our new pendant light fixtures over our new island. They refinished our ceiling, painted and the trim and walls. They figured out the best way to vent the new cook top from it's new location. They installed the new granite counter tops, the new exterior door and a large window. In the family room, in addition to re-staining the hardwood floor, they painted the walls and trim, refinished the ceiling and replace our original wood mantle with a stone mantle. The quality of their work was again outstanding. Both Jenny in the office and Rex in the field were very easy to work with. Rex came back recently(September) and fixed a cabinet problem and converted our pantry shelves from adjustable to fixed, for heavier loading at no charge! Total cost was about $60,000. This did not include the new appliances, window, sink and faucet or pendant light fixtures.
So, now over a 1 1/2 years from the first project and 4 months since the kitchen remodel... we love it all and wouldn't change a thing! We are now working on a list of changes we want to make in other parts of or house and Young Remodeling will be our first choice.

"We were so happy with Jeff's knowledge and skills from a prior door fix, that we asked him to install a new front door and storm door, and correct the installation of a patio door (and frame the door opening inside the house). Jeff was again on time, unfailingly polite, showed us the problems and recommended solutions, and began work immediately. The original front door was an odd size, so Jeff cut and put in additional framing and insulation for the unneeded part of the door opening. The new front door looks beautiful, and so does the glass storm door he installed.
Jeff also assessed the patio door (one hinged door and one stationary door) installation, noted that it could have been pushed clear into the house easily, and outlined his plan for correcting the installation and trimming the door opening from the inside. When he was finished, the door was secure, everything worked, and it's all a very professional job.
During almost 35 years of marriage, we've used many handymen and carpenters. We wish we had met Jeff years ago, as he is very knowledgeable about carpentry  and has impressive experience restoring Victorian homes and public buildings. Jeff was always on time, has the experience to see exactly what needs doing, works quickly and quietly, and cleans up before he leaves. In short, his suggestions were brilliant, his work fantastic,
