"Workers did a wonderful job, and very professional. They were very careful with the stove removal and very clean. Very happy with both the inside and outside wall repair. I would use your services again."

Small jobs welcome

"The lead carpenter, Wade Ambrose, supervised the other carpenters in a kind and professional manner. The crew arrived when he said they would arrive and worked on the project steadily through completion. I am very pleased with the work they completed (stripping off clapboards, repairing the damaged area, and putting up new siding). The wages were reasonable and the worksite was clean after every work day and on completion."

"I had damage happen at a rental home. I called Mark and he came over that day and reassured me we could fix the broken picture window and repair the other damage. He replaced a giant picture window/interior trim/vinyl siding and a few other tricky carpentry projects that needed attention. He worked hand in hand with my insurance company and he came in right on budget/estimate. He even worked in the pouring rain to put the final touches on the project! Strongest of recommends for your project. He has great work ethic and a can/will do attitude. Hey took control of a stressful situation and made it better than it was to start. Thanks Mark!!!"

"You Will Not Be Disappointed! We hired Ken and his crew to do all the carpentry work on an inn in Camden that we were totally remodeling. In a desire to keep this review brief, let me begin by saying that he was one of the best contractors we hired for the project, and we had many who were very good; some disappointing but Ken and his crew, were amazing. We hired him for a smaller scope of work, but soon realized that he is a talented general contractor which is evident in how he plans and schedules the work to be done; consults with you along the way - regularly suggesting other ways to proceed with the project - always with an eye toward doing it in a way that is more cost effective. Dependability and punctuality were off the charts. He and his crew were onsite every day as planned and weekends when available. We have since referred him to a number of others who have had equally positive results. His crew members are a pleasure to work with - all very pleasant and polite, with a no nonsense approach to the days work. We still have Ken back to do follow-up work - and although he has a full schedule, with much larger projects, he makes the time to get our smaller jobs done. Can not say enough about what a find he and his crew were to our project."

"ok but I had to call them back to correct a problem with the stairs that were not evenly spaced. As I am fall due to Multiple Sclerosis, this is a major problrm for me., They did do a fix and I will pass final judgement after the winter. Nice, polite crew to have working at my home. I even made them a pan of brownies to share!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Stockton Springs, ME

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
