"From the first interaction, Eddie's garage door and their employees were wonderful. Quick on first contact. Came out within a few days to give a quote. Very knowledgeable. They showed up when they said they would and didn't leave until the job was finished. The doors look and operate great. "

"We had an extension spring break in the garage door. I called Capital Installers for a quote, which seemed to be a perfectly reasonable amount, and they were able to get me on their schedule that day. The receptionist was polite and professional. The workman took a little longer to arrive but I didn't have too long of a wait (around half an hour longer than what I was told over the phone...thus the B). He had both springs replaced in about 20-30 min. I wish he wouldn't have smoked while working in my basement garage (thus the other B) but otherwise he was quick, efficient and the garage door works great. When I got the bill it was exactly what I was quoted. If I have any other garage issues I would call them again, likewise I would recommend them to anyone who had a similar issue. <br />"

"Randolph Development (D&D Cabinetry) were perhaps the best part of our entire new home construction. Dan and Danielle Randolph were able to see the vision that we had for our home and they gave creative input that made for a very unique set of custom cabinets! They operate with the utmost attention to detail--we are so pleased with the work they've done for us! Not only did they build the cabinets that we wanted, they also took on some "unfinished" projects that we needed for our new home--fixing a set of antique corbels that we wanted to use on our covered back porch, they also converted an antique fireplace mantel into a beautiful built-in book case that is in the center of our home. We have enjoyed every moment of our involvement with this company...so much so, that we have added a few more jobs to their work list! (Wish is was possible to submit photos of the work they've done for us...although I'm not sure photos would do them justice) Call them if you are looking for professionalism, courtesy, attention to detail, unique design, quality construction and materials, and timely work completion!"

"They went above and beyond.  We have a small garage and have been having a hard time opening and closing the door.  They realigned it, and now I can open and close it.  They didn't charge me for it.  They just did it. <br /> <br /> They cleaned up after themselves and bagged everything so it could go into the trash.   <br /> <br /> They are very professional.  They were originally scheduled for the 26th of this month.  They were ahead of schedule and came two weeks early.  They were here when they said they would be here.  They worked all day. <br /> <br /> They owner came out from Salem and checked out everything to see where we wanted it laid and the next day the crew was here.  <br /> <br /> They're going to put in an automatic door opener for us."

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Stover, MO

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
