They apologized and sent out one of the same installers that afternoon. While the problem was with the manufacturers product MEP took full responsibility and immediately provided us with a new copper tube to replace the original plastic one. Unfortunately, the water heater is behind my HVAC, so they had to remove the HVAC, remove the old water heater, install the new heater, and replace the HVAC. They did a perfect job. They also replaced the freon in my HVAC, because the prior repairmen didn’t add freon. In addition, they fixed the jets in my spa.
