"Corey (installer) did an excellent job, and even powered through some adverse weather. He was communicative, thoughtful, professional, and cleaned everything up after the job was complete. The process of getting the original quote was also pleasant. They listened to my requests, offered helpful suggestions and a competitive price."

"They sent someone out to do a "free" foundation repair. Angie's list charged me $20 for the thing, so it wasn't really free either. It was one of the "Big Deals". So David came out, he was super nice. He was also late, and I had to call them twice to find out if he was still coming. When he finally got here, he was super nice, and did a little inspection. He looked under the house but didn't actually go under there. His quote was $8000 for foundation repair, and he promised that my door (that had stopped shutting) would be fixed and any creaking floors would also be fixed by his foundation repair.
Now I didn't get why this was bad until I had some Earthquake Retrofitters come out and give estimates - really for free. They went all the way under the house, spent an hour taking pictures under there, sending detailed proposals, and both said that the door wouldn't be fixed by repairing the foundation. They also quoted much less ($3000) to do the same work David quoted for $8000.
He seemed like a nice guy. The first red flag was when he offered to do the work without permits. And the second red flag was when I got much more thorough and contradictory quotes from the earthquake guys. Nice guy. But I wouldn't trust them with my house.

"Excellent work. I have used this company for years for all house repairs and remodeling. Manny the owner is a general contractor...licensed and insured. He has done major repairs like replacing the gas line from the street to our house. This required digging up and replacing concrete. Tunneling under a retaining wall and digging up around 40 feet of lawn. Also, Manny did a beautiful job in remodeling a bathroom. He has done air conditioning repair work that saved us $3,000. The work that he has done for me includes painting, plumbing, masonry, concrete replacement etc. He always leave the premises clean when he is done for the day and at the end of each job. His prices are exceptional...equal to his work."

"We were wanted to change the look of the house. so we decided to switch to a tile roof instead of shingles. We called a couple places to get some quotes. All had a lot of good things to offer, but not the color I wanted. Then I saw a sign for TLC in front of a house and did some research on here and other sites. Decided to call them, the office personnel were very polite and were very detailed.
They sent John out to meet us, he was very knowledgeable and had lots of samples on hand. He took measurement and sat with us and explain what needed to be done in order to switch. He brought exactly what we asked for when we spoke to the office.
I wish it was a little cheaper but it was what we wanted.
John told us that the job would take no more than 4 days, The demolition took about a day. The crew was very respectful and cleaned up after themselves. they replaced any wood that was damaged and laid the tar paper the second day. and the third they laid the tile roofing. they finished a day before expected and everything turn out great. there were no leaks during the rains that came soon after.
i would definitely use John and TLC again."

"Tommy and all the guys from ET Builders are the best! We interviewed over 4 contractors, and it wasn’t even close. After we meet with Tommy at our house, he immediately made the perfect impression on us and our decision stage become so easy to take. He could give us an accurate, fair estimate right on the spot, and we really felt like he understood what we were looking for in our kitchen remodel. Once the remodel began, he and the boys were always timely and stayed right on schedule, and they were really helpful in guiding us along the decision-making process. They cleaned up before leaving every day so we would have our house back in the evenings, and we really appreciated the fact that they cared enough to do that. The remodel was completed easily within the time frame that was given, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. We love our new kitchen...it completely transformed our house into a place that we love to be and feel proud to entertain in now. I would highly recommend Tommy and ET Builders to anyone."
