"On the work order that I placed on Angie's list with A&T Refrigeration and Appliance Repair, I indicated that our circumstances did not warrant an emergency response. Andy contacted us twice. The first time we were not home and the second time, we set-up an appointment. He arrived when he said he would. He examined the stove, contacted LG regarding the problem, determined what part would be necessary, and then set-about seeing whether that part was available, its cost and potential timing of its arrival, and the total cost to fix this issue with our 2012 LG stove. The nature of the design of the stove with touch features and integrated control systems meant that the part would not be cheap and the cost of repair would thus be expensive. We chose to use the stairs to our basement and the circuit breaker as our new off switch. Andy was prompt, efficient, and communicated clearly regarding what the repair would entail. We were disappointed in the LG stove as our previous stove had lasted almost 30 years before it needed a far less expensive repair (and with that repair it lasted another 8 years)."
