"I had my appointment with Mr. Harmond W. on May 07, 2022. It was rather easy to set up appointments and the site makes it rather easy to reschedule (which I've had to do). Mr. Harmond W. was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I've read great reviews about his appointments on here. We pinpointed the problem by process of elimination. For my particular model (Whirlpool) he's seen the common water leak issue I was experiencing. Oftentimes, filter housings need to be replaced. Mr. Harmond W. just confirmed my observation and I am glad I may now rectify the issue. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Harmond W. sent me the exact part needed via email . One may shop around at different retailers to purchase the part. Neli also sells appliance OEM parts as well by partnering with other companies. I will be going with another retailer/seller since the price was much lower with a good return policy and a protection plan option as well. For $35, one can't beat that. A diagnostic evaluation alone may range from $150 and up. I was able to pinpoint the problem and order the part. I won't be arranging for an appointment to self-install. One has to know where to draw the line. I will hire someone once I have the part in hand. I already have someone in mind, also referred by Angi. Luckily, I didn't have to do any thing too cumbersome. I gained some handy tools at well. I really liked using the nutdriver vs a screwdriver. So I've added all the necessary tools I need for the appointment to my collection, and they will be handy in the future. Overall this was an optimal experience and I would certainly refer and use Neli in the future. If you are confident in unscrewing/re-screwing, and removing parts of your appliance, I'd say give it a try. NOTE: Also understand that this an all virtual service. An appliance repair professional doesn't not come to your home at no point in time. Neli offers self- diagnostic guidance to determine the issue with your appliances. Neli sends you the part number. You purchase it, and then may opt to make another appointment to install the part. If the task is too difficult, then you may opt to hire an appliance repair professional. It's up to you to decide. "William was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in terms I was able to understand. He showed me areas of old, damaged ductwork that clearly needed replacing. He took pictures, and noticed my furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and recommending replacing since carbon monoxide may enter the building and he showed them to me and he worked out a plan and made sure he was able to replace damaged ductwork, install a new gas furnace and even add an additional vent in the biggest room in my home. They were very careful to cover their shoes with booties, thank you Home Squad!"

"There were a few small glitches ( some measurements in particular ) that put project a little behind. We are very pleased with the finished product. Jessica Bell's design ideas were very good and we were particularly happy with the back splash design she proposed.  Ryan Vincent was our project manager and he was easy to work with and when small issues came up he was quick to pull us in, give us options and his recommendations. Ryan then took your decisions and put then into action to keep the project on schedule. Jessica had given us recommendation of subcontractors they often worked with. Everyone we used from countertops (Floform ), electrical ( Blacksheep  Electric ) , plumbing ( Protocol plumbing ), tiling ( EKB LLC ) and Appliance Installation ( Elkay Services ) were very good. I would not hesitate to use any of these subs in the future.Jessica also provided us contacts at various product suppliers ( appliances, lighting fixtures and plumbing ) who proved very helpful because of their depth of knowledge."

"Mr. Belem was pleasant, gave me his recommendations, however, materials were not readily available, I have to do my own research where to get materials. He suggested I needed to replace the whole hot water dispenser system, I just needed the faucet replaced which he says that the faucet alone cannot be done, therefore, I have to buy and replace the whole unit. Hello, there is online purchasing stores! Voila, there it is! Faucet alone can be purchased."

"Palm Construction did many projects for me: remodel bathroom, replace the roof, termite treatment, install of can lights, crown molding, skylight, and painting. The workers are very friendly and all talented. The quality of their work is excellent. The overseeing contractor for all my jobs was Omri. He understands quickly the scope of what you want done. He is organized, honest, and prompt at returning texts/calls. He has personal integrity, and just is a really nice guy. All of the people I met in the company connected to my projects, from owner to people doing the actual work - they were really delightful to meet and work with. "My house was supposed to close today but I found out last night (11 PM) that it would not close without the installation of a new utility sink.
 
I called John this morning around 9:30 AM in a panic. He had someone at my house by 10:30 AM. 
Matt installed the utility sink, hooked the washer/dryer back up (and discovered that the dryer hose was missing), installed the dryer hose that I ran out to get, put a toilet seat on and installed a range hood in the kitchen. His work was excellent.
 
I would give this company an A++++ if there was that option.
 
I don't intend to purchase another home but would recommend him to all my family and friends.

"We were happy with the work. Ryan was good to work with as far as picking out materials, making suggestions, he corrected issues while we were working with them. For example, we had picket out a certain type of faucet for the marble top, and we had ordered the wrong counter tops, and he went back and got a replacement. All that went well, and for what we had done, we were not discouraged by the work or anything. There was an issue afterwards that we had a problem with. One of our requirements in the bid was, that we needed to have some doors changed on a hallway closet. When he bid on the job, he said he would take car of that as part of his bid on the bathroom. There were 2 closets which needed the doors. We have a door that doesn't shut properly,and the grout on the tile that is opening up. We called him multiple times after the job was done, to fix the closet doors, and we sent him emails, but he never once returned the calls. Once he had the money, he wouldn't return our phone calls. He himself said he would come back and fix the closets when we were paying him, and we had to special order the doors. We had somebody else come and put the doors. The after experience left a sour taste in our mouth. Angie's List was important to him, he stated that,  and that is how we found him. We noticed that his guy was cleaning his paint brushes in our bathroom sink, and we are on a well. We had to clean up the mess from our sink, so we wondered what it was doing to our well."

"The skylight well is now square and clean, which is great. The paintwork was also good, despite the challenge of painting a ceiling in a wallpapered room. He did leave some mud or paint spatter on the skylight that I haven't yet figured out a way to clean off. I think we both missed it because it was such a dark day."
