"Job went perfect. I was approved for financing the day I called. When the contractor came out for the bid, he made a materials and labor suggestion based on our needs. The original estimate of 9k worth of unnecessary privacy fencing, that I could not afford, went down to 2.5k of sturdy chain link providing a safe play space for our rescue dog. The contractor said they are more interested in helping customers out than making large sales. The fence is very professional. It is even wired into the ground so our dog cannot dig under it. The city inspector said it was a "perfect" construction job. Finished in under 8 hours. Roughly 100 feet of chain link, posts, concrete, plus gate. High quality materials and the yard was spotless when the job was finished. Very trustworthy. I feel strongly that I got what I paid for. Peace of mind that my dog, a known short fence jumper, is safe as well as my yard and padlocked gate. The most important part, is that my dog LOVES the freedom of having a large yard to run freely in."

"Jason was great on the phone, and Mark did the repair. They both had to be very patient and flexible with my scheduling as I just got out of the hospital , also had a daughter come home sick one day. I would have been annoyed with me, but they were not! And the repair was done beautifully!"

I contacted HMR and asked that they provide me with an estimate to remove my existing chain-link fence and install a six foot vinyl privacy fence.  They showed up the same day and gave me, what I considered to be, a very reasonable price to perform the work and provide all the materials. (Much lower than the others)  So I chose HMR.

They scheduled me for the following Saturday.  They arrived at 7 a.m. as scheduled and were finished that afternoon.  I was very impressed with their knowledge and willingness to clean everything up afterwards.  If you're considering a new fence, I would definitely recommend these guys!

"Chris was one of 4 companies that provided estimates. Although his bid wasn't the lowest, we liked his attitude and professionalism. He was completely upfront about what he could do and what to expect.
Although our deck is only 4 years old, we power-washed it ourselves last year and created a mess with splinters. One of the things we needed done was splinter-reduction. Chris advised us that all wood decks have splinters but that he would do what he could to reduce them. We are satisfied with what was done.
We first got our bid on May 1, 2014. Due to the crazy weather we had in the spring and early summer of 2014, the job was delayed until July 6, 2014. This was not an issue and we completely understood that the work couldn't be done unless there was a no-rain window.
The only issue we had with the job was that the stuff under our deck (we have an under-deck roof) wasn't covered and the muck from the power washing coated everything. I would've preferred to have been warned of this so I could've covered everything. Chris covered everything for the staining portion of the work, so that wasn't an issue.

"Project took a little longer than expected but the crews were working during the hottest weeks of the year. Met or exceeded expectations. The few issues with minor aesthetics were discussed with the crew and solutions they suggested worked out well and look good. Dennis was very knowledgeable and approachable. "We were presented with a detailed proposal on what work would be done and the cost.  Once we accepted the proposal is was a little while before the work was started, but that had been discussed and expected.  Wade and his crew did a wonderful job.  The new retaining wall and stamped concrete patio are beautiful.  They also built a small deck which turned out great.  The only problem was that the work was started late fall of 2014 and due to the unpredictable weather the patio needed to be re-cleaned and resealed again early this spring. 
Although it was not in the plans, Wade told us that if we needed help with planting he would take care of it.  As promised, they came out and planted a few bushes for us around the patio, which didn't take his crew long, but was very helpful to us.  We really didn't know what we wanted to do with the space, so had not initially contracted for any landscaping to be done.  Wade worked with us closely on every aspect of the job from moving a small fountain for me to installing the lighting around the patio.  The new fire pit is perfectly placed, exactly what we wanted.
Wade was always available, we didn't play phone tag as he answered his phone whenever I called.  If he wasn't on site every day he would come by to make sure the work had been done.  He and his crew cleaned up each day and he continually kept us informed about what was going on.  The only problems we encountered were caused by the weather. not cooperating. 
I would definitely contract with RCD Rives Cotracting Design again and highly recommend them.
