He had rekeyed our house a few years ago and I remember him doing a great job, being punctual, quick, and no-nonsense. Alan was available to fix my interior door lock, offered a reasonable and lower rate than other locksmith quotes to show up to do the job (even though it was a small job, most had higher flat rates for service calls,) showed up 10 minutes early, and fixed the lock in 10 minutes. Wonderful.

"I initially called to replace one sliding closet door panel and to adjust 2 closets with older tracks and doors that kept falling off. The first crew that came measured and photographed the panel to be replaced, and manipulated the other closets a bit to get them back on track.  Unfortunately, the closets needed a bit more repair to get them back to normal working condition. When I spoke with the office to confirm order of my replacement panel, I explained that the closets still needed to be adjusted. A couple of weeks later the panel had arrived and was ready to be installed. The owner came to install the panel himself, and did the adjustment I needed on the other closets. This was not a big job, nor a difficult one, and I really appreciated him coming himself to see how he could remedy my problem.  He certainly wanted to be sure I was happy with their service. Their pricing was more than fair, and I would definitely call them again if I have any need for sliding doors.

"he did a great job.  my door isn't plumb and he had to find a way to take out one of the one-way screws so it could still be used again. but he didn't charge more for the additional frustration and my new security door makes it so i can open the house up at night and let the air flow through without worrying about folks coming in or my dogs getting out.

"The job was done nicely. However, after setting up the install several weeks in advance because of logistics, they cancelled due to out of town something. The next time install was scheduled, they were running so late because of either traffic or accident or ? we agreed another day. Job performed nicely, however I have asked three separate times to get a copy of invoice. This was done at a rental unit and my tenant gave them the check. I had the check waiting for him, he cashed that day, but cannot seem to give me a copy of invoice. Very poor business practice. I did my part of the job. I would not hire him again because of this. I want my invoice."

He was knowledgeable about the windows and explained the differences so I could make the best choice for the money I had to spend. The windows were replaced and I'm happy with my beautiful new sliding door. The work was done quickly and my home was left in great condition. I had no clean up to do after the workers finished. Tom helped me process all the paperwork and arranged for financing , also very helpful. I would use this company again and I would ask to work with Tom Cohen. I trust him to help with future projects."
