I’m Bobby, founder of Brammer Demolition and Excavation. I have been in the construction industry 4-5 years. I have done all work between small general contract projects up to operating large machinery and equipment. We offer a range of services, backed by warranties, and have hard working crew that will get the work done the correct way the first time. If not we will come back and fix it until you’re happy.

"We hired BCMRoberts for our basement, after discussing with a handful of contractors. They were the most thorough and flexible to our design ideas. They even gave us connection to have a water issue addressed beforehand at a competitive rate and quick timeframe. The construction process went pretty well. As with all projects, some issues or delays popped up here and there. When they arose (mainly with subs), they were transparent and took care of them quickly. They were extremely detailed, adding nice finishing touches that weren't requested, but very much appreciated. They took the job as if it were their own house. In the end, we were really happy we went with BCMRoberts and would definitely use them again in the future."

"We could not be happier with the experience we had with Will. He is not only totally professional, responsive and on time, but his aesthetics are top notch. He really listened to what we wanted (a blend of rectilinear and Japanese styles) and absolutely nailed it! His pricing is extremely reasonable for the scope of work. We had an initial consult which entailed him visiting the property and doing  thorough walk-thru. He listened to all of our ideas and concerns. We have a 50 year old home that is all original and has not had any significant maintenance for ~15-20 years. He clearly loves what he does and has an enthusiasm for working with the customer and delivering a product that meets their wants and needs. A short time after the initial consult (less than a week, I think) he sent us a quote for the cost of his services and the details of what the contract covers. He followed up this email with a phone call to discuss any questions we may have and to let us know that he was interested in our project and working with us. <br /> We decided to go with him and signed the contract. A short time after he received the document, he emailed to schedule the survey. This is one area where I am very impressed with Will's work. He does his own topographical surveying rather than  sub-ing it out. This made us feel that there will not be any mistakes or details left out that would be crucial to the design. He was here doing the survey for the better part of a whole day- clearly very thorough and concerned about making sure it was perfect.  <br /> After the survey, he contacted us to let us know when the first concept drawings would be ready. This process took a couple of weeks, but was well worth waiting for. It also gave us some time to think about all of the details and ideas we had discussed with him and we exchanged emails several times while he was working on the concept drawings. <br /> When he came to our house to present the concept drawings we were blown away. Not only were the drawings themselves right on the money, but he had also printed out all of the pictures I had sent him (of things I had seen on the internet) to exemplify the details of his drawings. He was extremely attentive to all of the details we discussed about the concept drawings and took notes for preparation of the final master plan. <br /> The master plan was ready a couple of weeks after our discussions of the concept drawings and again, was well worth waiting for. Will continued to contact us during work on the master plan to firm up all of the details and ensure he was meeting all of our needs. Needless to say, the master plan was exceptional and we are extremely happy with the work Will did for us. <br /> Will clearly cares very much about his work and his professionalism. He is a very good and open communicator and really listened to us to ensure all of our needs were met in the design. I would give him all A-pluses if it was an option. I absolutely recommend him and would use him again in future if I ever bought a new house.  <br />"

"We had our failing patio in the back rebuilt and reconfigured while we were at it. It was maybe a little more challenging than doing a new patio, but all the issues were resolved and we are pleased with the results."

"The house I?ve owned for 8 years includes an 18x11 1980?s sunroom porch. I wasn?t familiar with the style?it seemed like a ?kit? ? you know, made of some sort of metal. The roof had started <strong>leaking</strong> and I had no idea who to call for help. <br /> I saw Sunspace?s model room at a festival in late June and asked them if they could replace my porch?s roof. Max, the owner, came out <strong>that week</strong> with catalogs and samples. After listening to the background, he told me what his company could do AND he gave me some helpful tips on other improvements that could put my mind at ease. I appreciated that he wasn?t just focused on making his sale, he was genuine in trying to help me out. He also didn?t push any additional sales ? for example, he said my walls and windows looked fine, he gave me tips to keep them in good condition, and he let me know how much their replacement would cost when I was ready. <br /> When I told him that I was afraid the leaking roof was causing damage to the main house he called his team and arranged to have them come over <strong>THAT DAY</strong> to tarp the entire area until the new roof was manufactured and ready to be installed (8 weeks). <br /> On install day the team removed my waterlogged sunroom roof and flashing to find that years of leaking had rotted the ends of most of the house rafters that they needed to bolt into. The old flashing extended up several rows of shingles on my house, and after removing that, they pointed out that where the roof plywood met the fascia didn?t look so hot either. This unexpected situation wasn?t good news for either of us. Max came out within the hour to guide us all forward. He discussed the situation openly with his team and me, located my brand and color shingles in town, and promised to use any materials he could from his warehouse free of charge. We agreed on a price (for the additional labor and materials that needed to be bought) that seems fair to me. <br /> The team executed the structural improvements slowly, but I don?t think it?s their usual work and I appreciate that they wanted to do it right ? in fact they even worked a few hours on the weekend (absorbed in the agreed cost). They had to cut away the old materials to make clean repair lines, sister new 2x6s (4 feet) to all my existing rafters, cut fresh plywood over which they installed ice guard, flashing, and new shingles. <br /> My primary suggestion would be no on-site smoking, but judging by the volume I?m not sure the guys could survive it! I consider it a small price to pay for a nice-looking roof and peace of mind. Plus, the guys were courteous and didn?t seem bothered by my regular visits and questions. They never asked me for anything and they let me know when they were leaving and coming back. <br /> I should also mention that Lisa in the office is very communicative, responsive, and pleasant. She contacted me to discuss each milestone ? deposit charge, roof arrival, roof install, and remainder charge. <br /> Overall, the Sunspace team helped me through yet another stressful repair on my 100 year old fixer-upper home and I would highly recommend them to friends and family.     <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Sunbury, OH

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
