We chatted over the phone while Tom was looking at the range. it was so easy and it put my mind at ease, we could fix the beast and be back to baking. Tom sent a follow up email with a link to a tech company that would fix the electronic controller board. He included the specific parts number which turns out was the right one, not the one specified in the manufacturer's online documentation! I shipped the broken parts out. The repaired controller came back just in a few days. The part was installed and range operational before my wife was ready for her morning tea. I hugged the old stove. "CHW was a bit of a nightmare. First the person they arranged was a no show. Then when the repair person I arranged showed up and tried to submit diagnostic for approval the claim number wouldn't work. i called and spoke to 3 different people who gave three explanations and finally the 3rd person fixed the glitch. Meanwhile a repair that would have taken an hour or less, took two hours because CHW didn't provide the right information or solutions. So I paid the extra hour out of pocket that the "waiting" cost us. I could have paid $100.00 less without CHW. I am not really very happy with the company. But, stuck as I prepaid for several years..ugh!"

Then he neglected to put anything back into the freezer, including a turkey I had bought for Christmas and a rack of ribs. Two days after he left, I went out of town for two weeks. The turkey actually exploded and spewed its liquid all over everything, which had to be discarded. I let AHS know and they couldn't even bother to call me or follow up on this.
