"They went out of their way to pick the carpet up, have it cleaned and returned within a week, considerably quicker than other estimates. The cleaning was excellent, and at a price that beat other estimates."

"It was great, I didn't know what color to chose or style and Jeff made my decision easy. He's been in the business a long time and it shows, he knows his products and gave me realistic options that would best suite our family including two 100lb dogs. After selecting the carpeting we were scheduled for installation by the end of the week."

"From start to finish this was a great experience (other than having to prepare by putting things away to have the floor installed ??) customer service was excellent and very responsive to my questions - and I had plenty. The crew that installed was courteous, professional and friendly and made sure I was satisfied with the work, which I was. I absolutely love the new flooring and baseboards! The quality of materials and workmanship is A+ I am not difficult, but I expect a job to be done well. ?????????? to the entire team!"

"<p>We purchased laminate flooring from Imperial Wholesale and had it installed by their installers. On the first day two installers arrived at the agreed upon time. They removed the existing carpet, prepared the floors and started laying the laminate. It seemed to go slow to me but I wanted it installed correctly, so speed was not a concern. On the second day two showed up but then one fellow left. The one who stayed worked his tail off in my opinion, so I have no complaints about him. Upon completion the floor was not cleaned. There was glue and other debris on the floor. I called and a supervisor came by and cleaned the floor with acetone. He advised me that if I found more spots that I should buy some acetone and clean it up myself. I agreed to do so.</p> <p>Some time during the install a sconce light in the hallway disappeared. In the other hallway the sconce light was taken down and set on a counter. I am not making any accusations about what happened to the missing sconce but am of the opinion that it got knocked off and was broken during the carpet removal. Again, I didn't see what happened to the sconce so I am making an assumption. If my assumption is correct I feel that I should have been informed. I mentioned the sconce to the supervisor who used the acetone and he agreed that it probably got knocked off and broken and said he would check with the installers and get back to me, that they would make it right. I haven't heard a word back from him. The sconce is not the end of the world, I just feel that my concerns should have been addressed. Had I been informed I would have said not to worry about it accidents happen. Overall We are satisfied with the floor.</p> <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Suprstitn-Mtn, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
