"The project was to repair a roof leak caused by a tree limb impact. The job was done cleanly, professionally, and quickly. I am very happy with the repairs. I enthusiastically recommend him for roofing work. I have roofing repair experience from my Real Estate work up north, but Iâ m over 70 now. During the inspection we discovered several other areas damaged by tree limb impacts which were going to be real problems if not repaired. The project expanded from a simple roof repair to a significant one, including replacement of several pieces of roof sheathing. Mr. Packard did an excellent job fitting the work in to meet my schedule."

"I needed my roof fixed ASAP. They responded quickly. They were fixing my roof before most companies even got back to me. They did a great job."

"We contacted Trevon and he got back to us in a timely manner to discuss our options. We took a couple of days to decide on the color. We then met with Trevon to go over and sign a contract. The contract covered details of cost, including labor and material plus warranty agreement. Price quoted is what we paid. Workers were punctual and worked steadily. They took a reasonable time for lunch break. They were very polite and seemed to be conscientious about their work performance. Trevon did keep an eye on them. He did leave out a couple of times but came back in a timely manner to oversee what was going on. They had a magnet roller that collected most of the nails that were in the yard. They did a real good job of covering the area around the house where the old shingles were going to fall. They cleaned up after themselves each evening. The job took a good two days to complete."

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"

"My house is over ninety years old and the roof hadn't been replaced in more than thirty years. In 2020 I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer and started rigorous treatment shortly thereafter with a leaky roof. My son-in-law encountered Shane through his job and referred me to him. Shane was very sympathetic to my situation, made a very reasonable quote, and started work immediately. The "Mexican" workers someone commented about were EXCELLENT! They were extremely mindful of my health issues and worked as quietly and quickly as possible. The finished project is fantastic, I now have the prettiest roof in the neighborhood. I highly recommend Atlantic Roofing and Exteriors to anyone looking to improve the value and appearance of your home."

"The repair work went great."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
