"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

Jim was extremely thorough and was able to get the fireplace working the way it should. He was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. "Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

"Kirby was very professional and came out right on time to do an estimate on replacing my 46 year old electric furnace with a new Carrier Hi Efficiency gas furnace and I also wanted to add Air Conditioning as well. Kirby looked everything over and answered all of the questions I had, and I had a lot of them too. I also had a problem with my return air duct. For one it was filthy dirty, and it was broke apart in two places and was only taped together and was pulling in attic dirt, heat and cold into the old furnace. Kirby gave me time to do what I wanted to do before a new furnace was set in place. I had Best Heating & Cooling reinstall my return air duct and they screwed it together and foil taped the seams like I wanted it done. Don’t hesitate to call Best Heating & Cooling because I had 3 other bids done and after talking with Kirby not only did I trusted what he said, Kirby spent the most time with me addressing all my concerns more than any other estimator that showed up. Bottom line is, I got the Carrier products I wanted at a fair price from Best Heating & Cooling. Thank You Kirby! On the day of my new HVAC installation I was contacted by Chuck at Best Heating & Cooling and he informed me that he and his crew were on their way out. They arrived right on time and I met the installers which consisted of Chuck, Jose, & Malcom. These guys all worked great together. Each one knew what to do and what was needed to get done and stayed on task with the job. Chuck was an amazing lead man and answered all of the questions and concerns I may have had. I watched over the job progress and how everyone was doing and it’s amazing how much work three men can get done in a short amount of time, reason being because they are professionals and everyone knows their role. Jose did a great job working with Chuck on the furnace install and Jose did the AC unit and the roof venting as well as reconfigured the return air duct working together with Malcom in the attic to seal and secure my new return air duct just like I wanted it done. No one complained or had an attitude. They just did their jobs and seemed happy to be there working. When the crew cleaned up everything and left even my wife complemented on how well everyone worked together and no bad language or disrespecting anything. I could not ask for a better group of guys to come out and work for me. I got along with everyone and it was a pleasure to have met these men. Thank You, Chuck, Jose and Malcom!"

"When scheduling service for an air-to-water boiler, I was told I called "exactly the right people". The tech got here and said they almost never see these... Charged over $300 for an hour's looking around (no actual service) and drive time. So, I feel pretty seriously misled, and I still have to find someone to service the boiler. They continue to be unwilling to split the bill."

"Do not use this company. I would give them a negative star if I could. They charged us $683 to change a shower faucet and caulk around one edge of the tub! This did not include the faucet and having to fix the dry wall that was torn out. We had a leak so they installed a new shower faucet (not the matching faucet so we had to buy another one), cost for this visit was $483. It still leaked so we called them out again for the same leak and they said that the caulking needed to be replaced and the cost was $200. I expressed our dissatisfaction with the cost with the plumbers. They said to call the office and that the costs were determined by their computer. I called the office and complained about the cost. They said that the costs aren't up to them in the office they are up to the plumbers. So, is this problem the computers fault?! The office would speak with the plumbers about this. I had to call 6 times before I got an answer (terrible customer service). They said that the original plumber would have charged $200 for the caulking too. So, the $683 cost stands! If you want to pay a lot and get terrible customer service use this company."

"I ordered a kitchen faucet through Home Depot (on Saturday) and paid for the professional installation. It says a professional will call me to set it up. I waited until Monday afternoon since it was a weekend. Never got a call. I had to call Home Depot (was given the run around and had to call 3 different #'s). Then they had me call A1 Installation to schedule. I called and left a voicemail, they said they'd call back within 24 hours. It's been 24 hours and still nothing! I am entertaining Friday night and have company coming this weekend and a very drippy faucet that is driving me nuts! They need to do better! Terrible! "
