The materials they used are superior quality and state of the art. The roof is a huge improvement - they discovered some leaking had started, so it was good we didn't wait another winter. The old roof was 20-year old cedar shake so it was a big job to strip off the shingles and add new plywood. The first quote was shockingly high at $45,000. After much back and forth, Austin whittled the price down 50%. The bargaining was the hardest part. But we're happy with the result - it added value, will protect well from our coastal winter storms, and will last far beyond our likely lifetimes.
