Counter tops were ordered and delivered 6 days later, installers were GREAT, Rodrigo and partner were on time promised, very professional, friendly, quick, cleaned up after, would not even know they were there, except for my new counter tops. "When have you actually been happy using a contractor? Usually it is such an awful experience but not this time! I recently redid my condo and had a less-than-perfect experience with my contractor so when my brother was looking for someone, I obviously had nobody to refer. After three no shows from other contractors, I came to Angie's List and found Stanley's. <br /> The entire process was such a joy and so easy that I am still in awe over the whole thing. Thought they were too good to be true. They answered emails incredibly promptly, were really friendly, came for an estimate quickly as well. They sent little emails like "called the granite place, waiting to hear back" etc. Just little things like that really ease your mind. My contractor made me go to the burbs where I had to rent a car, but not Stanley's. They suggested I look at a granite place that was actually in the city of Chicago, not too far from downtown that I could get to easily. I helped my brother pick out a slab for the kitchen and a remnant slab for the bathroom, and Stanley's said they could begin working on it once we paid half. We mailed a check and few days later we were notified that they got the check and would install the granite a few days later. My brother got a higher grade of granite than what I got for about the same or a little less of the price. <br /> Come installation day, again I feared that they were too good to be true. Would they no-show? Break something? No!!! Two guys came in, took them about 5 hours to do the whole thing. They worked very hard and were professional. They wouldn't even let me give them lunch, just work focused. Granite looks beautiful, no measuring errors. They cleaned up very well too. They even made my brother a cutting board from the leftover granite! It was so nice working with people that you can count on, I would refer these guys to anyone in the market for counter tops! <br />"
