• Removed approximately 100 linear feet of sod in various widths
• Dug down approximately 8" the entire length
• Went to the quarry and hand selected the size and shape of individual, natural brownstones that would be the steps
• Marked the placement of the stones for ease of walking
• Laid each stone to conform to the flow of the path
• Filled the area around the brownstones with natural looking, smooth gravel.

  The end result was a very natural looking path that flowed between the two homes and blends into the existing landscape.  It looks like it has always been there.
We are extremely satisfied. In addition to the quality of the work of this company, another reason we selected them is that the owner is always on the job and he runs background checks on all employees.  He also will not hire someone that is  in our country illegally.
We have since contracted with My Personal Gardener for our landscape maintenance.

"We received 4 bids to have an irrigation system installed in our yard.  Rainmakers price was in the middle of the bids.  We selected their best residential system, the ultimate.  This system includes stainless steel rotors and a solar sync device which monitors our on site weather to adjust the system to most efficiently water our lawn.  Keith explained his system much better than the other bidders.  The installation took 3 days in hard clay.  The crew was very professional.  The trenches initially looked rough, but were tamped down very well.  With 2 weeks of watering, you could not tell where the trenches were.  Our lawn is beautiful.  Very pleased with the system.  Keith has visited twice to be sure we had no concerns or questions about the system and to be sure all rotors and sprays are covering their areas properly.  He has also phoned once to see how we liked the system.  We made the right choice.  Very pleased.

"The project went better than I had expected.  
Over the years I've suffered through, itinerant cowboys with chain saws, and tank drivers with bucket loaders doing yard work.  Frankly, I wasn't looking forward to this fix.  Our small 26-year old front yard had begun to look like a British Golf Course.  Sink holes and high spots had developed to the point where the mower couldn't handle it any more.   I had anticipated a complete re-do of the entire front yard...  
WOW - was I surprised by how little needed to be done to actually fix the problem.  Brandon has a keen eye and a surgeon's ability to do only disturb the bad parts and leave the good parts un-touched.  The result, in this case, was only a small portion of the yard was affected with amazing results.
If you're looking for a company that does really good professional work and pays attention to ALL the little details then this is the place to go.

"It was kind of weird. The owner of the company, I found out later on, was the person who first came out to take a look at the job. I was expecting one painter for 40 hours or two for 20 each or whatever, and he said well I'm just gonna bring out four guys and have them work a ten hour shift and do it all in one day. I said well as long as they can get everything done I have no problem with that. Well then when the day rolled around and they actually showed up, it was two guys - well actually it was a guy and a gal. First day, they worked - I was there all day with them - the first day they worked about a nine hour shift each, but they did take an hour lunch break. They got about 40% done. The next day they were there a little longer, about eleven hours; I'm not even sure it was eleven hours - no, it wasn't that much because they arrived late. It was about another nine hour day. But they got most everything done and they were very nice and they were nice people, hard working. They got a little sloppy at the end. They were trying to rush and got a little sloppy. After they left I went around and looked and for the most part they did a good job, but I did find several sections where they didn't double-coat the trim in one area where somehow they must have just missed the whole section at the lower end - didn't paint it at all. So they didn't actually put in the full 40 hours they talked about, and like I said, they didn't complete the job. I would give them a B-plus rating; I wouldn't say they did an A job but I would say it wasn't bad either. But they didn't really complete it and do the full 40 hours they promised to do. I'm not totally dissatisfied or anything like that. For the most part, I'm fairly satisfied with what they did. I would use them in the future, but I would make it contingent on payment after the job was done instead of before. One thing I was disappointed by, I did ask them when they left to have the owner contact me, and I never got any follow-up call, no inquiry as to my satisfaction or was anything left undone or anything like that. It was just over and done and I never heard anything again. That's why instead of giving them an A, I'm giving them a B."
