"Bill and his team are good communicators, set realistic expectations, and keep the customer informed. I called 6 plumbers & excavators before finding All Drains LLC. Two others set appointments but did not show, the others just did not respond at all. Bill called within minutes of my online request, came early the next morning, explained clearly what the main sewer line problem was and what it would take to fix it. The line was 13 feet deep and about 30 feet long that needed replacing. Yes, that is a big hole. Bill had the team to do the job. It was repaired correctly, at a fair price, and with a lifetime warranty. Very happy!"

"These guys are fantastic, Great work, fast and accurate. They replaced the main sewer line between my house and the city main, They were so helpful with the neighbors when the neighbor wouldn't let my tree guys in to their yard, Bill brought in his tractor and helped my tree guys pull that tree down from my yard so he could finish the job, Then he gave us a good price on replacing the main sewer line in the house. Thanks to Bill and his crew, My family has running sewage leaving the house and not in my basement."

"I knew I had more trouble than just a service. Very friendly and courteous. Would gladly hire again. They installed a/c & furnace for a very fair price and installed it that Monday. Cleaned up everything and left no mess."

"Willow Sewer & Drain was amazing! They were the first ones to call me after I put in a request for some quotes (called within the hour on a weekend), and I was able to set up an appointment the upcoming Monday. Anthony was really kind and explained everything, and the Master Plumber (didn't catch his name) answered all of our questions and gave us great tips on how to prevent replacing our drain pipes for as long as possible. They were timely, let me know when things were changing, etc. They were wonderful people and I look forward to working with them again."

"On all of the replacements or repairs there was a time period of 1 -3 weeks for the repairman. They were all professional . You have to read the contract , I missed the electric part and had to pay for it myself so read your warranty ."

"Timing and communication was great and the work seems to be great. But I needed a Sewage Ejection Pump - Check Valve 3 in. installed. He told me it would be about $100.00 for the part so about $300.00.when he got done I was charged $398.00,beings the values are on the internet are for about $30.00, Not only was the price more , I feel the labor was pretty inflated $ 368.00 for labor is kinda high for such a small job."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Tecumseh, MI

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
