"We hired Bill to repair drywall after a ceiling leak, to replace a ceiling fan, and to install a new light fixture. After stopping by the house, Bill provided a timely and accurate quote. He communicated effectively via text about when the work would begin, his hours, etc. Bill went out of his way to match very old paint samples so that we didn't need to repaint the whole room. We knew there was some rotted wood, but found more as the project progressed, and although we thought we wanted the downspout painted white, once we saw it we realized it should have been painted to match the brick. The additional cost to replace the rotted wood (with pvc) was fair and the painters didn't grumble when I asked them to repaint the downspout - which required a 60 foot ladder! The painters checked all the window to make sure they would open and replaced the screens. The project took 3 weeks to complete and would have been finished sooner except for a few rain days. The clean up was good. I would definitely use Mr. Mendez again and recommend him without reservation."

"Home Valet Pros were responsive and professional, from the scheduler, to the estimator, and the workers. The workers were skilled. The primary challenges we had were around communication. (1)The scheduler booked me for two half days, but the workers arrived planning to be onsite for one full day. After a little back and forth with works and the supervisor, the workers agreed to leave and return as originally scheduled. It affected my own work schedule some. (2)Estimator came out and reviewed my request for 4 tasks (drywall, painting, door, shutters); he even took photos of each area of requested. I didn?t notice that the door didn?t make the contract, although the price was the same. Workers who came out, said they could not work on the door. (3) There was drywall dust left throughout the work area I guess because I didn?t explicitly ask for cleanup. I didn?t think to take photos until I was most of the way through my own cleanup."
