When it came time to restain my deck I knew immediately who to call. They came early on a Saturday morning and were done by the time I woke up (third shifter). I didn’t hear them at all. When my disposal started leaking I knew who to call. Within a couple of days (when my schedule was open) they were able to come and replace the disposal with a brand new one. "Patrick kept me informed on what time he was going to arrive as I was not his first call for the day.  While he was there, I also had him look at a rusted galvanize pipe in the laundry  area that has been leaking for a while.  He discovered that the rust had made a hole in the nipple where the fitting ended.  Besides expertly installing the hot water heater replacing the galvanize pipe with copper he also replaced the leaking pipe in the laundry area for a reasonable additional charge.  He was very professional  and although this particular job took longer than he expected, he stayed with his estimated price.  I am a  competent  do-it-yourselfer that is getting up in years, so I did not want to tackle this job.  Watching Patrick perform this job made me glad that I did not do  it myself.  Upon finishing up, he also cleaned up the area well. I would definitely hire him again and also recommend him to my friends."

"It went very well.  Despite the fact that I live in Tennessee and this company is in Boston, they helped me a great deal.  I can't remember what I actually paid them, but it seemed reasonable for what I got:  unlimited access to the decorator's assistance.   I had already chosen some of the elements needed for my bathroom remodel, but got bogged down over colors/curtains/light fixtures at the end.  I just needed some help in tying everything together.
Their decorator (Amanda Zettel) and I worked mainly through Pinterest;  I made a board of my bathroom, using pictures of what I'd chosen already, and she sent me links to items that she thought I would like in categories that I needed.  We also talked over the phone several times, and emailed, too.  I believe Homemade Design will also help you with vendors and purchasing, though I didn't use that service.  Amanda did send me to some new websites, and I chose my bathroom lights from one of them.  Amanda helped me choose the finish, the shades, and the placement of the fixtures, which I love.  They are unique and charming - thanks, Amanda!
She also sent me several names of paint colors to chose from for the bath.  Because of the variations in computer screen colors, some people might not be comfortable with this, but I wanted to be the one who actually picked the color.  I just felt a little overwhelmed at the huge selection, so Amanda was able to narrow my choices to a range that I could live with.  The color has been up on my wall for over a month now, and I'm very happy with it.
All in all, this was a very good experience, and I will definitely use Jeff and Amanda's help again!"
