"I hired Dalinghaus Construction to install two push Piers for a freestanding column/wall (bad clay soil causing movement). I meet with Kevin to go over the scope of work and he explained everything in detail. The price was the best I can find. Took one extra day to finish the work, but they did not charge me any additional fees. 3 month later, I had a feeling that the column/wall is moving again and call Kevin. He show up in a few days and show me there is no way that wall is still moving and he was right. They are very good at what they do and customer service is the best. Thank you very much."

"Parker Concrete helped us to create the backyard of our dreams with their hardscaping. Dave was extremely prompt and friendly. He also gave us the idea for the seating wall to be more angular and this works great for entertaining. They continued the acid washed concrete pavers all the way down our very wide side yard and also built the shed pad. Drainage was installed in various places as well. Everything was timely and we felt like we were in very capable and trustworthy hands. Work actually began while we were in Kauai but everyone was communicative and thorough. We plan on re-paving our long driveway and will call on Parker Concrete for sure. Landscaping and gravel was completed by another landscaper."

"He provided the name of the engineer he would use for the structural considerations and the draftsman for the submission of plans to the City of LA for all permit requirements. As soon as the permits were issued he began work immediately. I was on site for the entire project and was extremely well pleased with the workers used, from framers to drywaller, all were excellent.  He kept me informed of all details and progress of the job.  The city inspections went smoothly.  Adam also offered decorating suggestions and referrals for flooring.  I will certainly use Adam for any future projects. <br />"

"In the end everything was fine. The project took three times as long and everything we did we had to redo several times because they kind of messed it up.  They took responsibility for it and was pretty good about it.  It was kind of a mess.  There were some stuff that were majorly horrible but there was some stuff that was really good."

"CPand G came out to give an estimate very quickly after my initial phone call. Their price was competitive, their reviews were good, and they were able to start immediately, so I hired them. They arrived exactly as scheduled and completed the job in two days. I am very satisfied with the quality of the driveway and will call them again for any concrete-related needs I ever have."

"Everything went well. Before the project started, we went over a line item list of the tasks to be completed and the costs for each task with Charlie and Eli. This ensured that there would no surprises for additional work and costs. The final cost was very close to the estimated cost we were given. Our project supervisor, Israel, was great. He communicated with us about what would be done every day. His workers were courteous, efficient and clean. Before they left every day, they made sure to clean up any and all mess. Our finished remodel is beautiful. It met and exceeded our expectations. We have had a couple of problems since the work was finished and Eli has quickly come to fix them. There has never been any hesitation on B and R's part about standing behind their work. We highly recommend this company. <br />"

"They installed sliding glass door for me. They did a poor job of it. While framing it, they ignored or grossly misread the structural engineer's drawings (failing to install a column attached to the ground), which seemed incredibly dangerous. They only installed it after my wife noticed it before they covered it up, and then they still needed me to verify with the structural engineer that a column should actually go all the way to the footing. Thank God my wife saw it. They left trash and debris everywhere throughout the project. They also improperly sealed the door, and now it leaks whenever it rains. We have tried to call them to fix the seal around the door multiple times. They said they would fix it, but now they simply do not return our calls. Avoid this contractor!"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Thousand Palms, CA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
