"We hired Day & Night to uninstall our old dryer and install a new gas dryer we had purchased from Lowes. These guys literally saved my holidays. Our experience with Lowes was horrible, and it turned out that the dryer Lowes “finally” delivered after 2 months was defective. The team from Day & Night was great, scheduled quickly, patient and even able to fix our old dryer and update our piping to code so we were not in a lurch because of poor service from another company. "It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."

"Had to file a claim for new clothes dryer, and repairs on fridge. Foothills Star Appliance came to look at both. Eric was the repairman. He was friendly, answered all my questions, and very professional. I would highly recommend his company."

"It took them about 2 weeks to finally fix the issue. We had to go to the laundry mat the whole time. It started leaking again after they left, when we were told it was un-repairable. They washing machine was covered under warranty, but it took at least 2 months for the new machine to be installed from when I had the original issue. When you have an issue with any of your appliances, they subcontract out the work to a local company. The companies that they subcontract the work out to can lead to some bad experiences sometimes. It can take some time for American Home Shield to get a company to come out to fix the issues though (Sometimes days, or weeks).  I pay a $75 service fee for each time I call them. I have an annual contract with them, but I pay monthly. I sometimes wait 2 hours on the phone on hold with them, and then the line will disconnect. This is beyond frustrating when this happens. I have not had too much luck with this company."
