"It went smoothly exactly as Paul described the job. His crew installed a sump pump and ensured in drained to the curb. The crew replaced the drain run to the curb and dug around the existing bushes. The crew also connected the the roof downspout to the run to the curb.The crew installed a perforated pipe in a trench which created a floating basement floor on 3 sides of the basement. (the 4th wall was not necessary since was an interior wall.) They concreted over the pipe with a gap to the wall. they repaired and painted the basement walls."

"No problems with the quality of the work or the time it took, but it was surprisingly expensive. So much so that I almost regretted having the work done. The plumber found the shut-off valves inoperable and began replacing them without telling me about it or the additional cost. I should have looked over his shoulder more often and asked more questions, but I did not. Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

A salesman was let go so I had to make several calls before I found his replacement to get the second part of my job completed. They left a pretty big mess at my home as well as denting my water heater. They did a good job but I think someone should follow up to make sure the customer is satisfied and all of the work was performed correctly."

"The home inspection took about 2.5 hours. The inspector encouraged questions, explained things as he found them, and then went over the entire report front to back at the end. We were given a very detailed report with all of his findings, and he also provided us with some helpful hints along the way, like to purchase a back up sump pump that could operate in the event that ours would fail. <br /> He also set up our radon test which ran for 48 hours and we received an email with the full report right on time, as promised. <br />"

"Mr. Skaggs suggested using the jet and camera to locate pipe and problem... although a minimal extra fee  money well spent.. pipe and problem not even close to where it was believed to be... this suggestion by him saved me well over 2 grand... <br />  dug up old clay sewer line and replaced it with new pvc .. he also suggested 2 cleanouts for any situation that might come up in future(great idea)  I live in a hilly wooded area with lots of tree's and roots.  Backfilled the dug up section and cleaned up area..  Mr Skaggs was very professional and knowlegable... prompt and on time... price was well below others checked some of that due to his suggestion of using camera...  no others even mentioned this and just wanted to start digging where we thought it might be... "When i was in the basement doing laundry one day I noticed a sulfer smell and instantly thought gas leak. I called Tiffin Deluxe Services and had them come out to look. They diagnosed that the smell was coming from my water heater and that I needed a new water heater. They came out the next day and installed the new water heater. When I got home from work I went down to see the completed work. First thing I noticed was a strong sulfer smell. I called them back up and they told me it would be a day or two before the smell would disappear. Five days later I called them back because the smell persisted. They came back out and removed an anode rod and told me the smell would go away. Three days later I called them back because the smell was still there. They came back out and removed the other anod rod. Again, this did not help. They ended up coming out to my house five different times. I ended up calling the septic company and they diagnosed the problem as having to do with my septic. They fixed the problem and my basement smells great now. Although Tiffin Deluxe Services mis-diagnosed my problem from the beginning and it may be questionable whether or not I needed a new water heater. They were extremely professional each time they came out. They only charged me for the water heater and no service charges for the five times they came out to my house. I would definitely use them again, but question the diagnosis next time. <br />"
