"The company Affinity was wonderful. This is the second time we have had the Navien tankless hot water heater repaired. The first time it caused massive damage to the bedroom below. I pleaded with Trendmaker to put the hot water heater on the ground floor. But they stood firm. So we had the tankless heater put in in an effort to avoid just the trouble we experienced. Affinity fixed the heater when it froze during the recent freeze. It is not Affinity's fault but the parts are expensive so the heater is much more expensive to maintain than an ordinary hot water tank that SHOULD be on the ground floor. So I give an A to Affinity for great service and an F to tankless Hot Water Heaters and to Trendmaker for being so stubborn about putting a water tank in the attic."

"The good is, they were definitely professional and reliable the bad is they’re kind of expensive for what they do. For example, I asked them to come out to fix a water heater and they came out there and saw that there was no outlet for the water heater and they charge me $250 just to say that there was no outlet there. seems a bit excessive for doing nothing. i would understand like a $75 trip fee but anyways I imagine your other fees are probably that high as well. Anyways, I can’t tell you if they have a good service or quality of work because nothing was done but I can say that they’re definitely professional and reliable and come out pretty quickly so if Budget is not a concern for you then definitely try them out."

Based on that I decided to hire him to replace 4 lavatory pop-ups and one bathtub drain. His bid was fair and he did an excellent job. He encountered issue with tub drain that required him to create a small door access for the repair. He carefully sawed thru a bedroom gypsum wall, finished repair of the drain, drove to Home Depot and purchased a door and came back and neatly installed the door. Other than ask for reimbursement for the door he honored his initial quote. We will be using Ram CT as our plumber in the future"
