"Joe and his team were awesome. I needed a quick fix for a leaky shower and to ensure walls were sealed and protected from any water. Not only did Joe provide a quick fix at an extremely reasonable rate but he took the time to educate me on the work, what he did, and specifically how it would solve my problem long term. I've found it difficult to find reliable contractors who are both reasonably priced but execute at a level that meets pretty rigorous standards, Joe and team knocked my expectations out of the park. I have little doubt that I'll be calling Joe in the future for more house projects!"

"We had a massive leak in the shower of the guest bathroom. Since plumbing was one of the systems covered by our warranty with choice, I went on-line and filed a claim. I git an immediate response assigning me a claim number for reference and later that day received an appointment notice....GREAT customer service. The plumber arrived, at the time specified, and was immediately able to pin point the problem. (a defective shower cartridge) I have used Choice Home Warranty multiple times as my home ages and they pay for the replacement parts if needed. My "deductible" is a $45 fixed rate for the service call, no matter how long, or complicated the repair is. I absolutely am delighted with the customer service, fast response, low cost of a service visit, and NO surprises, or "fine print" excuses regarding coverage. They provide a list, in writing, of what is covered and what is not and do not deviate so I make sure my problem is on the list before filing a claim."

"We hired SAL to install new ceramic tile floors in our hall bath, master bath, & master hallway. They also put in new 3/4 cherry hardwood floors in my master bedroom. The craftsmanship was immaculate. He shows up on time, worked on my job everyday till it was done, cleaned up at the end of the day, & most importantly was very respectful to me & my family. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

I wasn't sure this would end up to be a good idea but, it turned out a very pleasant experience. They did it all from start to finish. They spent the first day and a half gathering the trash and debris left by the tenants. They must have pulled four trailers worth of mess out to the dump. Then they went through the whole place; removing nails from the walls, doing the patchwork on the plaster and lathe (where we wanted it repaired and pulled out where we wanted drywall replaced), sanding all the spots and removing the mess. Then they started in with the heavy repairs in the putting in a couple of windows and hanging the drywall where needed, they taped off all the walls, fixtures and windows to ready it for paint. After painting and waiting for it to dry; then they started outside clearing out the brush and debris left behind. They also worked to dress up the yard with great ideas like window boxes and fresh flowers! . They did all the paint work inside the house and finished up by touching up the outside paint. They went back through the house last time and shampooed the carpets, cleaned the stove and fridge, and put fresh new chalk in all the needed spots. I know I may not have all the right terminology but, these folks Really saved the day! When they left the place was spotless and the time and money we spent was well worth giving up the headache of that mess to someone else and finding they'd done a great job! Wonderful!"
