"The HD Exteriors teams delivered outstanding results in replacing our existing rear deck and front porch with beautiful TREX decking. At the same time, they replaced all of the existing railings with fully coordinated maintenance-free railing. Really nice ! They also did demolition of an existing brick front stairway [which did not meet our county's code for good reason], and they then installed new front stairs with railing and additional safety features for us "senior citizen" types. It all leveraged the same high-quality TREX; but the exquisite CARE they went to in beautifully designing [per up-front concept drawings] and installing was truly a wonderful and very pleasant surprise. Special cudos to Mr. Omar and his team !! There was also a new installation of fully coordinated (i.e., TREX tpp railing) placed atop of a wall [with significant drop-off hazard] which was TOP NOTCH work, and fit in perfectly with all of their other beautiful work, AND helped us to meet Fauquier County code for safety requirements. Everybody at HD were very professional, courteous, responsive, and timely -- always arriving within 3 -5 minutes of an appointment time, even when they were coming quite a distance to get to our home. You'll see that we have provided the highest rating to each of the teams of HD professionals [importantly, extending to all HD Office Staff !] that supported our project work. It’s amazing how many other companies missed key issues, came up with half-baked plans, or didn’t show up at all. - When we retained Northern Virginia Landscaping, Ibi, the owner, worked closely with us to come up with a design that was both practical and aesthetic. - Ibi was very open to negotiation, helping us prioritize different parts of the project and evaluate trade offs between costs of various parts of the design. He also specifically sought our input into the design through the process. By the end, we felt like the design was our own. - Once the design was finalized, Ibi was clear about when the work would begin and how long it would take. When heavy rains delayed his crew at another project, he was clear with us about what that meant for our start date. Overall, the communication and customer service were excellent and Ibi made himself fully available when we had questions. - Once the work began, it went very smoothly and largely according to plan. I wanted it to match the design of my current patio, and it did. I had my reservations since all the reviews I read talked about paver installation, and this was a total concrete job â no problem they knew exactly what to do and did it well. I especially appreciated that they made a suggestion which made sense. One end of the patio was quite a bit higher than I pictured. They suggested I add a step to allow easy access to my backyard. Great idea! They know what they are doing and did it well. I need to install a front walk - They will get the job! USE THIS COMPANY - YOU WON'T REGRET IT!"

"We had been told by a home inspector and another chimney sweep/repair company that we needed to replace our damper with a new lock-top damper requiring an adapter - a costly repair on our budget.   Prior to committing to the repair, we called A&T to come out and give us a second opinion.  Dennis from A&T evaluated our chimney and determined that the damper was basically fine but just a little rusty.   They applied some oil to the damper so it would move more freely and that was that.  
Not only did they save us hundreds of dollars on a repair we didn't need, they charged $0 for the visit and the (admittedly minor) work.  Dennis also pointed out another important repair that was needed - the heat reflecting panels that line the inside of the fireplace were cracked, which is a potential fire hazard.  This hadn't even been mentioned by the home inspector or the other chimney company.
So although I can't judge the quality of their work beyond applying a bit of oil, I can attest to their courtesy, integrity and professionalism and say that  from now on, I will call them first for all of my chimney needs.
