"I had a great-experience today with the removal and installation of our new Chimney kit. Billy and Christian were the installation guys that showed up promptly at schedule time. For a two man team, they worked swiftly. Since they had to remove my old Chimney kit then install the new kit which was over three stories high I thought it'd take all day but they were extremely clean & professional. This team explained the entire process from start to finish. I'd recommend this company to anyone! They were so professional that the whole neighborhood came out to watch them work. If you go elsewhere it’s your own fault!"

"The Problem: I had a leak in my living room ceiling. I thought I needed the chimney repointed. I could not find a contractor on Angies List search who does that kind of work. I wrote to AL’s member services. They gave me a list of contractors. I selected A-Advanced Chimney Service. They were the only ones who specifically listed that as a service. The Inspection: They came and did a free inspection. They determined the Chimney Chase Cover was rusted with holes allowing water to enter. It needed to be replaced. They also offered “Flash Seal” a tar like sealant for the flashing. And “Chimney Saver” a clear water repellent sealer for the brick. I agreed to their estimate for everything. It also included a Chimney Cap. The Work: The work was done in one day. Tony the installer is very experienced and knowledgeable. I was surprised. Tony climbed up on the roof at about 11:00am and didn’t come down until around 5:00pm. The Execution: - The Chimney Cap is not plumb. It leans like the leaning tower of Pisa. I didn’t notice this until much later. - There was little cleanup. Months later I’m still finding screws and pieces of some tarred mesh material on the ground. - When Tony and his helper Tim arrived for the inspection they tore apart a sofa cushion. They needed it’s foam to keep from slipping on the roof. They didn’t remove all the padding. To this day I have white pieces of padding stuck to the roof shingles. - I called the manager Denise about this a couple of times. The first time she said she would send Tony over to fix the leaning cap and clean up. Tony never showed. Now with the Covid-19 situation she says she’ll send Tony over when things return to normal. - Lastly, during the install Tony needed a 1/4” drill screw driver. His was worn. I loaned him one. I didn’t get it back. Not a big deal but the rest of this is totally unsatisfactory. The Result: The ceiling no longer leaks."

"David and Zack came out to our house in December for a chimney cleaning and inspection. We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney. Huge job that David and Zack’s crew, led by Jerry, got done a couple of days faster than quoted! Special shout out to Christine at the office for her speedy and super helpful communication! We will definitely be hiring them for all of our maintenance going forward! I give Nevermore Services five stars because that’s all I’m allowed to give!"

Took time to explain all options and offer choices and info on converting to electric as lowest cost option. Very honest and professional. Will definitely use this company for installation of damper. "Hearthmaster was quick and professional.  The gentleman was very thorough with cleaning the chimney, and gave us tips on how to keep it clean and type of wood burning and the silt / smoke different types produce.  Also, he was very helpful in finally fixing our master bedroom fireplace by replacing a part (we paid for the part) and vigorously cleaning the screens.

"Shinya come out 7 am in the morning to fit in with my schedule. He thoroughly inspected my gutter situation and gave my suggestion on what gutter repair/replacement should be done. He did not try to upsell any of his own service. He cleaned up clogged spots of my gutter so I can wait for the repair/replacement been done by a gutter company."

"they missed completing the work on the chimney first day which seemed to be a miscommunication between staff. They came out a few days later and completed the work and it looks great. Windows look great and were installed in one day. Only hiccup was a window came cracked and they had to order a new sash. They brought it by, but I have not been able to get it put in as of this time."

"First, they offered the free estimate to give me their project, then they have an expert to come to point out which part need repair or replaced and offer to work within my budget. My house ended up with 18 repairs. After I agree to the final project, they issued a contract. Price is reasonable considering all the repairs. Here I especially should praise the crew leader Silvio, he organized his team very well, did a good job. Any area I was not satisfied at first, he touches up painted for me again. I would definitely hire them again the future."

When I called to reschedule, they responded appropriately with apologies and an immediate second appointment, which took place as scheduled and went extremely well. I observed the inspection and cleaning, which included the chimney cap, wood-stove chamber, and chimney pipe. These guys did a thorough, first-rate job. I've already set my calendar to schedule them earlier next year."
