Small jobs welcome

"Aeon at Midtown Masonry was great to work with. Called and came to give estimate on job the same day I submitted my request. He and his crew showed up when he said they would every day. We needed them to tear out and restore some old broken mortar in our flagstone patio and to remove a brick outdoor kitchen hood and build a new one. Like most jobs like this, both of these projects presented unexpected challenges and Aeon always included us in the solution and was open to our ideas. He took pride in his workmanship and took it upon himself to go back over areas that weren t to his satisfaction. When done our outdoor kitchen looked as good as new. All of that and a fair price to boot. We are very happy with Midtown Masonry."

"Jeff was incredibly responsive.  He also asked a  lot of questions, both before my sending him photos of what we needed done and after.  His questions indicated the level of expertise and knowledge that I wanted in a mason.  He was proactive in following up with me to schedule our appointment, without being pushy.  He was very professional and very pleasant.  We will use his company again, when we need stone or brick work done.

"Went well, was very pleased with work, he developed an illness while working (sinus infection or bronchitis something of that sort) plus his help quit arriving, so it was just him, he pushed through and completed the project, my only complaint would be he did get in a bit of a rush and a few things were missed that I corrected after he was done but again he was ill, his help quit showing and it was HOT!!! He framed an 8 feet deep 44 feet wide and 64 feet long wrap around porch in a week! Fred was a great guy and would hire again"

"Community Builders did a great job on my roof. They also did siding and windows on my home. It has been a few years now, and I have had no issues with the product or the installation. My home energy costs are now very low as well. They offer extensive warranties on their products beyond what the manufacturer offers, and they stand by them."

"Ryan was very professional and very knowledgeable about the work we needed done. He showed excellent attention to detail and made sure that the wall he worked on looked like it had not been patched. He closed in a wall to our office where we had French doors and framed out a new door in the hallway to turn it into an extra bedroom. The new door was perfectly even and looked great and the wall that he closed in looked like it had always been that way. Highly recommend his services.

FAQs for brick or stone siding: repair or partially replace projects in Tulsa, OK

Stone veneer isn’t a weekend DIY. Even lightweight faux panels are heavy and must be anchored, flashed, and sealed to keep water out. Missteps can lead to cracked stone, leaks, or injuries. A licensed siding contractor arrives with scaffolding, masonry tools, and the know-how to set each piece safely and neatly, giving you a long-lasting, professional finish.

Stone veneer durability is robust when expert installation and proper maintenance are employed. When installed with precision, regularly cleaned, and sealed as required, stone veneer maintains its integrity for 25 to 75 years. Inadequate installation, however, leads to water intrusion and structural issues that compromise its longevity. Consistent upkeep and adherence to quality installation standards ensure decades of reliable performance.

Covering the entire exterior of a home with stone veneer is feasible but comes with a significant cost increase. Full coverage escalates both material and labor expenses due to the additional square footage required. Many homeowners reduce costs by applying stone veneer selectively—such as around entries, foundations, or architectural accents—while still achieving an upscale appearance and enhancing overall curb appeal.

Installing stone veneer over brick or stucco is entirely possible when the underlying surface is stable and properly prepared. The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of any loose material to support a secure application. Additionally, any areas of flaking stucco or deteriorated mortar must be patched and allowed to cure fully before a professional applies the new veneer, ensuring lasting durability.

Stone veneer siding offers a substantial cost advantage compared to full-thickness natural stone. It costs 25% of the price of natural stone because it is manufactured from concrete and lightweight aggregates. This method delivers the genuine appearance of stone while featuring a thinner profile that simplifies shipping, accelerates installation, and consistently reduces material expenses.

For a 250 square foot exterior area, stone siding installation costs range from $9,800 to $18,000, while installing stone veneer costs between $5,000 and $6,000. This clear cost breakdown demonstrates the significant savings achieved with stone veneer, which uses a lighter construction method that minimizes both material and labor expenses. Homeowners benefit from these lower costs while still attaining the attractive look of natural stone.
