"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"We contracted Chris Arneel and his team to remove several cypress trees that were very tall and close to our house, prior to replacing the roof on our house. We were initially concerned that the trees overhung our and neighbour's house and it might be risky to take them down. But Chris has done an outstanding job. They developed a technique, allowing to cut pieces of trees and safely bring them down. Also, the large brunches were roped away from the house then cut, so that they don't fall on neighbour's property. The result is that we got rid of old tall trees and now have very clean area for planting something else. Chris then removed the stumps as well.
