"Set up appointment to observe issues with my water softener.  Employee from American Pure Water was very professional-showed me the issues and offered several options to purchase new or to repair old.  Showed me several options of new softeners with description of all shared with me . No pushy sales at all!!  Made decision  to purchase.  The following Saturday employee from American Pure Water arrived to install new water softener and hauled my old one away. Within forty five minutes I had a new softener installed and understood how all functions and what I need to do (if needed).   Throughout entire process employees were friendly, professional, not pushy, offered many options, seemed to have much knowledge and strong belief of their products. "We actually had called Emanuel Brothers first since their name was on the water heater. But, after the amount of time and money they quoted us I decided to check Angie's. We had John come out and take a look and he told us he could do the same work for almost $800.00 less! I can't say I didn't have some trepidation. First, just how is it possible to do so much less work than we were told would be necessary (we had 2 water heaters. Neither of which worked after nearly 20 years, that had to be removed first to make room). And, for so much less. Emanuel Brothers were so perplexed by our situation that they had to call the boss to come out and explain everything to us. But, John had this "no problem" kinda attitude. Both refreshing and disconcerting. But, in just a couple of hours he had not only delivered a new water heater, he had the other 2 removed and the new one installed. And its been working flawlessly.

"Water heater is 7 years old (nearing end of life).  Pilot light went out on Wednesday evening and we couldn't get it lit.  We called them and they would have come out late that night, but we said no, come out on Thursday.  They called Thursday morning at 9am and said they would be leaving their garage in 10 minutes, so they made it to our place by 9:30am.  Two guys came and put on booties before entering.  (I wish Comcast repairmen would do that!)  They got the pilot lit immediately, but after finding out how old the heater was plus our problems the previous night lighting it, they said the pilot might go out again very soon.  We also had that feeling.  So they wrote up 4 possibilities with their prices for us (as we had discussed going to a tankless system).  One of the options was replacing the thermocoupler for $427.  One was installing a new pilot assembly for $499.  One was installing a tankless water heater for $6000, and the last one was to install a 40 gal. water heater for $1,620.  We chose the pilot assembly, and after using the 10% off coupon that J. Blanton has on their Angie's site, the cost to us was $448.96.  We don't know if this is a good price or not, which is the reason we didn't grade the price.  The work was performed quickly and professionally.

"I had Azrikam Heating (Azrikam The Price Is Right Heating) out today replace a part on my hot water tank and to take a look at my HVAC. 1) I am a new customer and even with other calls Bernard still came out to service my home 2) there is no bs. Any other person would tell you replace a unit when a part goes bad and the unit is 10 yrs old but no.
