"The work was partially completed. He asked for a Zelle payment because I wanted the tax removed. Then he ran my credit card for the same payment, effectively double charging me. Now he is MIA, not answering texts or calls."

"The experience was not quite what I expected. I had clearly explained the scope—replacing 10-12 standard switches with smart switches giving model number/spec—and was hoping for a lump sum proposal, but they only offered hourly rates, which is understandable. They estimated it would take about 2 hours, but the job ended up taking over 4. While they mentioned having done similar installations before, they spent quite a bit of time reviewing instructions on site, which added to the time and cost. The final bill was over $800 for a couple switches, including a service fee and $10 for wire connector? (The switches come with connector) Just a heads-up to others: be sure to ask detailed questions about hourly charges and how time will be managed, especially for smart device installations."
