He gave me a very reasonable quote on my first call and set up a convenient time for installation..He gave me a reminder call the day before and a few minutes before arriving his staff arrived. The electricians were very professional and put down protective measures to keep the area clean, They minimized the area that had to be cut in the wall to do the wiring for the 3 new Recessed Lights and Switches. "We truly cannot say enough good things about Tom and his crew. Tom repeatedly came to our house during the design phase to ensure that the final product was exactly what we had envisioned. He made several great suggestions during the process. He responded to phone calls and emails. He was always punctual. In order to finish the job in time for an event that was held at our home, Tom and his crew needed to start on July 17th. The job started on July 17th and continued through the hottest period of this summer. They worked diligently regardless of the frequently oppressive heat. <br /> They took great care in accessing our property (through our neighbor' yard), creating as little disruption as possible. We have dogs - they were always cognizant to replace the fence each evening so that I wouldn't have to worry about dogs escaping. Upon completion of the job, Tom and his crew graded the area that had served as the staging area, seeded it and then covered it with hay. <br /> The finished product is truly amazing - it is everything we had hoped and beyond. The quality of the workmanship is evident throughout the project. Everyone who has seen it is in awe. It was a very big undertaking and I'm sure taxed Tom throughout the process but he delivered exactly what we wanted, he delivered it on time and he delivered it as it was originally budgeted. "We got them as a referral when it was still ANGIES LIST. A couple of days after it was installed the light had started going out the fan was working okay but the lights kept going on and off every 2 minutes, they sent the same technician out trying to figure out why it was doing that. They didn't charge us a dime for the 2 and a half hours the technician (Jason) was here. It was incredibly nice for George Willy to not charge us for having Jason here for almost 2 hours. Nice gentleman, very good technicians, and they really know what they are doing."

We had no doubt that the company knew exactly what work was needed, and that we weren't going to suddenly be confronted by unexpected additional work and costs. When the work crew arrived on the first day, the crew boss was very happy to see that the estimate *exactly* matched the actual work! The crew was there for three days, exactly as estimated. They arrived promptly each day, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. All the work was done very well; we're very pleased with the results. When the crew discovered that one of the new lights had arrived with the glass broken, they notified us right away, and agreed to come back to install the light when the replacement arrived. They even opted (without being asked) to delay charging us the final $250 *after* the final light was installed. "The first electrician from Kolb took apart the fixture and repaired the lead wires. When stuffing the wires back into the box, there was a loud pop. The other room light didn't work after that and the electrician decided a short blew out all 3 new halogen bulbs. Since I didn't have spares on hand there was no way to check that. Later that day as evening came, we realized lights in other rooms were out too. This was now Friday evening after 5 PM. I called Kolb's 24-hour line. The operator was happy to schedule someone for Saturday service if I agreed to pay the Emergency Service rate. I had to get adamant to make her understand that was not appropriate in this case. After some heated agitation, she agreed to call the supervisor. She quickly called back with his approval for Saturday service. Clearly, she needed a little more customer service training, but I give Kolb credit for coming through. On Saturday, the second electrician spent hours troubleshooting the problem which turned out to be an almost invisible break in the wire that the first electrician missed. There was no additional charge for all that time. So, yes there was a hiccup, but once the problem was elevated, Kolb handled it perfectly."

"They were wonderful.   They repaired the damage from the lightening strike.  They also made a some repairs that were needed.  The room looks better that it has in years. <br /> <br /> The back deck had been damaged when pieces of the chimney slammed into it.  That damage was repaired.  The supports under the deck were reinforced.  The final work this week was to strip then repaint the deck.  It looks terrific."
